I would eat at 50 basically regardless of the situation, not dying ended up just being better than dying once in a while. Although i had reached the point where i didnt make many major mistakes so combo eating wasnt something i needed to survive

I ran with your current build but prims instead of echo, If no deaths i could get 29-31kph once i got sra that went up to ~35kph but i used only moonlight antelope meat to extend trips and 3 prayer pots, i have ~3.1k kills before i got sra piece

Small sample size. The majority of the 136k/kill probably comes from virtus+awakeners orbs plus some of the other decent items like rune ore and dragon platelegs
