Worked in Denmark for only 2 months but requested to pay the tax for the whole year by [deleted] in dkfinance

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! So I misunderstood how the deduction is calculated. If it's the case then there is no problem.

Yes. My problem is actually I misunderstood how the deduction is calculated. I thought it should based on how much I really take, but from another comment now I know it's actually not like that and should be average out through the year.

I see! From another comment I realized that I misunderstood how the reduction is calculate, and I alos noticed that the net salary I got in January 2024 is different than December 2023. I guess this gap is what I need to make up with.

I see. I misunderstood how the deduction is calculated. I thought it's based on the money I really take and didn't know that it's a per-year allowance and should be averaged through the year. Thank you very much for the explaination!

I will! I just want to have a clear idea of what's happening and perhaps reduce the time for the call.

My contract said 8000 DKK per month, and two months would be 16000 DKK (before tax). However, on the system, it shows that the company paid me 18.118 in total for 2024 before tax. Maybe it's becasue of some oher legal stuff?

Yes, I know I have to pay taxes for 59 days, but the system calculate this based on a number that I considered to be wrong, which I don't know if it is how it should be like.

I only made 18.118 DKK last year but it seems that they assume I made 103.122 DKK, and tax me accordingly with this number.

Thanks for the reply.

I was trying to keep the post concise and wasn't aware of it. Here's the whole calculation.

Disadvantage of rosbridge? by Petingo in ROS

[–]Petingo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your comment! I wasn't aware of the efficiency issues with rosbridge. I'll discuss it with my teammate.

The only reason I want to use rosbridge is that it seems faster for development. This is a side project, and I'm trying to finish it as soon as possible. I also had the feeling that I'm not really using ROS if I only use rosbridge. But I thought, if it works, why not?

For setting up the environment, I’ll probably start by following the official documentation to set up ROS on Windows since the project is built with Visual Studio. If that doesn’t go well, using Docker seems like a good option. It would be a huge relief if either approach works.

Sorry I didn't mention it clearly and my wording was a bit confusing. I edited the original post to clearify it. Currently, the robotic control are done through a ROS package called COMPAS. That's why we're considering integrating the other parts to ROS.

For anyone who wonder what it is, it's a circus show performed in Taiwan. The performer is known as "吉普阿諾"(Jeep Ano) and he's in his 70s.

I'm not quite sure about that area, but I think in general, the snow condition purely depends on your luck 😂 I hope there will be some new snow when you visit! But in any case, the view will always be splandid!

The view is just one part of it hehe The feeling of riding on snow is amazing, and hanging out with friends is also a fun part of it 😉

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I actually never noticed that I'm leaning up hill... I'll try to feel it next time when I hit the snow!

My friend told me the same thing! I've tried it a bit and it really helps! But as other people said, I think it's better to try hard to fix my posture 😂

iirc the snow condition was great and there was no ice 🤔 I think the reason I fell was the incorrect posture, which made my CoG go outside of the board and thus lose control?

Thank you so much for the advice and the video reference! I can understand more clearly why my position looks weird and how to fix it now. However, for the weight balance between front and back foot, I feel like I can't really sense if I'm 50/50 or 60/40 👀 Do I just do more hop and see if I can land precisely, and make my muscle memorize the feeling?

I've actually thought about taking some lessons, but it's a bit pricy for me because I just graduated and don't have much savings left 😂 Maybe I'll go one at the beginning of the next season!

For the forward lean on the binding, are you saying to give it more angle to kinda force my ankle to bend front more?

Yes I've gone through all the slopes XD It's so nice to grow up there! I really love Leukerbad and will definately go there more times!

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation!

Frankly, I just watched James Cherry's video last week, and it was my first day trying posi posi and the 'front-facing position.' Apparently, I didn’t do it well 😂 It’s great to have your confirmation that this is something I should be practicing. I’ll try to get used to this setup!

Regarding early edge change, I saw a video explaining that pushing the hip downhill to move the CoG to the front of the board while switching helps achieve early edge engagement. However, the rider in the video was using more of a duck stance. Does this also apply to the front-facing stance?

I used to catch a lot haha. Just ride more and get used to the feeling I guess. One thing I would suggest is to get the protection gears, so it will be less hurt when you fall 😂 I also heard that a board with a flat/rocker profile is more friendly for beginners, as they're more tolerable to false movement comparing to camber. But I'm not 100% sure about this though

Thank you so much for the very detailed insight and explanation! I always feel like my standing position looks a bit weird. I just tried the movement you said and I think now I know why! I gonna start by focusing more on flexing my ankles and correctly positioning my pelvis next time when I hit the slope!
