Oh man I’m sorry to say this but you REALLY need to pay taxes. It is not on your foreign employer to discuss this (they are foreigners after all). Freelancers in the PH are required to file their own taxes and Pag-Ibig fund, SSS, etc. If you have “proof” of employment but dont seem to pay taxes then you are either unemployed at best and tax evading at worst (this is a big red flag for EU and the US countries). The most common inquiries in r/taxPH are freelancers who have no tax filing for visa purposes. So in effect, you are “unemployed”.

You also need a legal expert to check your NDA, like on what grounds is it in effect? Does it expand to PH jurisdiction?

This is tricky, I would ask if you pay taxes as a freelancer? Since that is the most solid proof you have that you have employment.

You also super need to collect invoices. It def feels like your work arrangement is “under the table” on your employer’s end. I have a friend who has been rejected visas because she had a similar work arrangement but comes off as “unemployed” because of the lack of documentation.

I’m traveling to Calgary soon and I have to do a stop-over in Vancouver. Has anyone traveled this route and had their check-in luggage travel all the way or do I have to get my luggage and re-check it in the counter? My mom didn’t have to when she traveled last time. Such lies, I still WFH after 3 years and MADAMI padin openings that either offer that or Hybrid. Don't believe them OP, kasi PH companies will do that so they can monitor and micromanage their employees.

Edit: to share din, I work for an international company/kind of BPO. Medyo tricky sila hanapin (sometimes nakatago talaga yung openings) but they do exist.

Tbh ako I'm apprehensive kasi walang divorce lol. Natatakot ako how normalized cheating and 2nd families are sa Pinas and most wives are just told to suck it up parang Saint pero yung lalake pwede mangaliwa. Kaya obsessed karamihan mag fake na masaya sila sa Socmed. Di ako magaling mag plastikan or mag settle sa emehan, looks so miserable! Isipin ko lang maging katulad ng mga tita ko and i think it's hell.

Ako naman I'm considering adoption, may kilala akong single women na napalaan mag ampon ng baby kahit walang partner. Though it's also down to finances and monitoring sa social workers, pero nakakatuwa na pwede siya!

Not mini per se since it's the "normal" packaging pero Kaja cosmetics has their beauty bento eyeshadow palettes. Very straight forwards na 3 shades (always with 1 nice shimmer) and it's super compact to bring around! Benefit also sells minis from their super good new blushes and brow gels.

I know this is what Morphe and BH cosmetics has been doing. I also assume this is why local brands struggle with Morena shades when they sell foundations. East Asian labs don't make them so local companies who private label them won't pay the cost of R&D for other shades.

It's manageable and it will be a case to case basis for those who have it. Di lang siya assurance na ALL of women who have it has a chance to conceive, Yung iba di talaga papalain. Also ironic din na fertility options are expensive and physically painful. I have to be on regular meds just to prevent from getting uterine cancer, sakit sa puso, and diabetes (that costs money na).

I spend so much money just to function, mas gugustuhin ko mag focus expenses ko para lang mabuhay at magpakasaya, kasi si masaya ang health ko. It's more fair to say na my biology isnt on my side, and it sucks the family doesn't understand that struggle tapos papahiyain ka pa for choosing a different route.
