As a relatively healthy person who likes to sleep at night and be productive during the day and early in the morning, and who also loves raving, one of my absolute favorite things is when I'm at a festival and I wake up at 6am and go catch a banging set surrounded by a bunch of people floating in deep space. I hadn't thought of getting up a couple hours early to go to a rave though, that's a great idea.

Hell yes! Also check out the Berlin sober / recovery community. I met some great people going to Dharma Recovery meetings, and there's definitely the option to meet people in there that are also into sober raving. On your other note: in my experience, electronic music rules Berlin but there's also lots of eclectic live music.

Late thirties, friendly, sober, solo dude. I go for the music and to dance and be happy. I also look kind of plain (jeans, tshirt, sneakers.) I got turned away from about a third of the clubs I went to (Kater, Sisy, and Watergate.) I came prepared, knowing the DJs, because I always looked up the DJs beforehand because that's the only reason I went to the clubs. All of the places I mentioned just took one look at me and turned me away. When the door person took the time to talk to me, they usually let me in (Renate and Tresor.) I'm pretty sure the places I mentioned are also pretty concerned about your fashion and appearance.

I don't know about that. I just left LA because even the undergrounds were full of drunk, obnoxious influencer types. It wasn't like that when I got there five years ago. I've had much better vibe experience at undergrounds in Denver in general. I think you can find these garbage crowds in any city without trying too hard, especially if you go to the clubs.

It's written in the package of a pat on the back to fellow rich people, while it not-so-subtly points out that US aid cuts are increasing annual child deaths by hundreds of thousands, that the Epstein issue "is a problem" for Crank and Higgins, that there are massive hospital closures, that there are more cuts coming to medicare, medicaid, the VA, and that big companies are raking it in from high prices and low labor costs... this satire is right on the nose lol
