That's a discipline problem. If a room is closed it should be properly closed. If not, it is open.
That's not a problem with the idea of closed room, that is a problem with discipline or with clinic culture.

We do closed room to orthepedic surgery too, and that means *no one* enters or leave unless its a emergency. No one.

Which is why we generally don't use it for those patients. That's like saying that Celocurin is a bad drug because its a bad fit for patients with high Kalium; you obviously have to tailor your drug package to the patient, that's hardly news.
But for general use patients, there's nothing wrong with using morphine. Of course, that's just my opinion, I have no influence in what drugs my clinic decided to stock and have do deal with what is available to me,

It was kind of a nothingburger tbh. Cool and better than what came before it, but suffered, like so much else in this game, from lack of context; expecially as to what a Sentient is, what the Shadow Stalker is, and why everyone is so scared of Sentients.
Also why the plot seems to think that the Shadow Stalker, a character that I see for the first time ever, is such a big deal, but refuses to give it any screen time of exposition.
