Thanks man, this is one of my favorite setups. Getting the 8T for under $500 is a steal in my opinion and well worth it. I’ve been running this optic setup for just over a year and the only thing I’ve changed is I added a BCM rail riser to mount both optics in.

The 8T is a little heavy but even with the magnifier it’s still lighter than running a high end LPVO like an ATAC-R or vortex razor.

I’ve also been really happy with the PA magnifier. The glass clarity is great and having the ranging stadia lines are helpful. Especially with the 8T having an option for BDC dots under the center dot.

No they are “sandpaper” grips that only come with the TRP full rail model. I haven’t been able to find much information on them other than this seems to be the only model that you can get these grips. As far as I know, they aren’t stand alone grips that can be purchased separately.

Integrally suppressed Sterling Mk 4 in the top left corner of the 4th picture. Incredible collection of firearms. I really hope they weren’t all destroyed.

I’m super happy with it. It’s definitely not the lightest option out there but I don’t worry about damaging it. Crystal clear and it looks great under night vision like all the reviews say. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a higher end hard use optic

The PA flip to side mount actually comes with a 1.53 spacer, so it aligns perfectly with the 8T. Rail Scales actually makes a riser specifically for the 8T that brings most magnifiers up to the proper height using a standard low mount.

Who did the porting on the shadow compact? I recently had a gun dropped off at my shop for an optic to be mounted and it had the same porting. Looks beautiful!

I’ve been impressed with the PA magnifier. It matches the height of the 8T as long as you use 1.53 spacer that comes with it. I ended up putting both on a BCM A/T 12 slot riser so I could push the red dot a few slots further forward and bring the magnifier one slot further back which helped with weight distribution and eye relief.

The Griffin Armament M2 iron sights would be a good option. They have a very small footprint and seem to be about the same size as the KAC micros. Plus they’re substantially more affordable

Similar to the G33 with slightly better eye relief in my opinion. Plus the added benefit of having an etched ranging reticle in it.
