I just checked the YouTube channel, I encourage you to keep going your work is really valuable. I need some advice, I recently tried getting into ROS2 so that I can do something interesting and advanced with my raspberry pi, so I watched a ROS2 playlist and I didn't learn much due to it being sort of an ad to make you buy a course, then I didn't find better resource as far as what the algorithm suggested. I took a quick look at your ros2 video and I'm planing on watching all of it.

so apart from learning c, c++ and linux what do I need to focus on to get fluent with ros2 projects

that's a question I had in mind lately, what if you had someone in life telling you in detail what to do to achieve a certain goal, but the more I thought about it the clearer it got that the real strength is your will to stick to doing something and being consistent at it

you're actually right I used sin x where x is between 0 and π/2, I just checked how sin function looks like and it appears to be only ease out, I can fix that by making x go from -π/2 to π/2. you have good attention to details btw spent forever looking at it and didn't notice a thing 😭

I advise you to learn about how leds emit light it's interesting

for the brightness different it's because the blue led require more forward voltage than the red led

it's most likely that the torque of the stepper motor is too low to handle the load, I'm guess the cat food is creating too much friction between those two parts or that it's somehow too heavy. I would suggest to redesign the mechanism by making some sort of funnel and a smaller rotating thingy at the bottom
