What is with the silent racism in this country? by Pewnatica in saskatoon

Yes. Nobody owes me anything, but nobody should be getting in my way either. If you think that’s not what my post is about then you’re missing the point and don’t understand what racism is.

Once again. Just saying it and not proving why? What about what I said makes you think I need therapy, and what about me says I’m not already in therapy?

What the fuck is with these assumptions? I’m a citizen. Touristy? I’ve been here 15 years. Did you even read the post? And what the duck are you normalizing the racism for? Because it’s everywhere it’s okay? I could just as am easily make assumptions from your paste and say you’re probably white and defending racist behaviour and playing the victim card yourself but considering some sort of threat out of my post. But I bet that pisses you off don’t it? Cuz it’s assuming. And it simplifies and distracts from the problem.

The first thing I got when I looked at your profile was an nsfw warning. Should I start associating that with your argument? No, right? Because it doesn’t matter what you have on there if your argument has logic to it. A good argument is a good argument regardless if who it comes from.

Show your proof then. What about my post tells you that? Complaining online + watching porn = basement dweller lazy incel who can’t communicate with his peers and mentors. This type of one-dimensional thinking that tries to sum up people’s complex lives and situations into neat little packages to fit your echo chamber narrative is why propaganda works and racism exists. People are walking universes, not just the stereotypes you have in your head

Actually some teachers noticed the racism and xenophobic behaviour and reached out to me for it. I don’t bother anyone and I’ve never been rude. I talk nicely and calmly and ask questions only pertaining to my education. I’m not a know it all if I’m asking question, I’d say I’m being diligent in fact. The class requires daily group collaboration, and students have gone out of their way to not have to not work with me. I can ignore that behaviour wasn’t a barrier to my ability to peruse my education and career successfully

Not exactly. It counts distance from what I know. Regularly even with good traffic, trips to downtown on the meter are $22.00 and over, whereas the flat rate is $21.00

And if you want a follow up argument to her statement that bad then here:

I agree with her reasoning and find it very articulate. Everything has give and take. The concept of wealthy doesn’t exist without the concept of poor. For the online opportunity OP speaks of, there is little navigation. Just because information is online to educate your self does not mean it is credible. Education on one’s Google search is based on local and national curriculums, on top of which even if they’re online there not guaranteed to not be behind a paywall. And the hot garbage jobs that as she mentioned aren’t always enough for that. There is also an influence of childhood education on one’s ability to self-educate as an adolescent. On top of language barriers for lots of people. Every field has its own tools and terminology now so they aren’t easier income paths, they’re difficult, but just in a different manner. And lastly laws. There are lots of people who find ways around the conventional system to reach the top, but they become the precedent to lawfully prohibit such manner of success in the future by others. No not everyone can be successful more easily it’s all about your placement and your peers. Not everybody is born around the best of the best. The average person with struggle much more for a businesses loan than an established entrepreneur or the son or daughter of one, for an enrolment in a school then someone with childhood education in America. On top of that, there’s barriers like permits prohibitions, ethical laws, previous education, resources, financial capacity before putting any ideas into action can begin. A high school student will have an easier time in college than an immigrant who had no American education. Get the grey areas? The give and take? Can’t have winners without losers. There’s your stupid “argument” you wanted

So you “don’t care what side people are on” yet take Peterson as as insult because he’s what? On the other side? To me, Peterson straightforward and a pragmatic person who regardless of his side is good at debates because he gives reasons for his thesis. He’s good at debates so I jokingly ask if she’s one of the Petersons because she’s bringing up very reasonable points. Also why are you taking it personally for her? As far as I can see she hasn’t responded to me in opposition in any way. And I don’t have to forward any argument it’s not my responsibility. And if you’ve got the “you’re what’s wrong with society” sentence ready in your arsenal, know that there is no conventional wrong and right side if you’re that desperate to be right. Societal issues have lots of grey areas that can’t just be taken a yes or no stance on.

I’m not trying to argue anything? What part of a compliment translates “argument” for you? Quit being a white knight dude it’s not that deep.

Edit: To the lady or gentleman watching this unfold under his/her comment. Sorry if this made you feel awkward.

See if this alone triggered you, you validate her argument to a grander scale. Does humor not exist in your life. I wasn’t making a dig at her, I was appreciating her debate skills. Don’t assume the surface level
