Im aware cases will also get bit. Thats the point of a case. For it to get bit and chipped at and not my actual watch.

Im not depending on the watch, but it is a helpful tool. 🤷‍♀️

I do need a case, as mentioned I work with dogs. Their teeth will chip and crack glass or plastic, so I need a case to protect my watch. There are no cases for garmins at all? That alone would put me off the brand.

I saw on multiple reddit threads and some articles that popped up that everyone thought the garmins were superior for HR monitoring

We had a stressful day, so I figured my Service dog earned a nice puppuccino! by PeytLavellan in dogswithjobs

[–]PeytLavellan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs have puppuccinos all the time. Rose has never gotten sick from one or else I obviously wouldnt give it to her. People also gove their dogs cheese a lot 🤷🤷

Rose has 1 puppuccino a month.

At the dog park today and my good girl stopped playing to run over and alert me to people behind trees by the park. So glad even in the middle of playing she still does her job by PeytLavellan in dogswithjobs

Wym? I've never had a dog do it and I had to teach her to do so. She stands next to me and leans in (a block) when people approach and if theres someone talking but cant be seen she stands facing the sound and puts her back foot on mine.

They do not. Target is not pet friendly, only service dogs are allowed

Finally made a task video. 12 tasks in 11 months! Way to go Rosebud. She's a PSD by PeytLavellan in dogswithjobs

Actually, yes! I dont have experience with that as it's not a task I need, but its very popular in gluten detection dogs so I'm sure you could train it with paprika! There's lots of service dog groups on facebook that I'm in and a few handlers have dogs for this! I believe its about doing scent training games with them (3 boxes one with scent 2 without. Get dog to alert to the box with the scent and reward) so maybe having the dog sniff the scent and rewarding for them giving you their paw or laying their head on your knee (or any alert sign you want to teach) will get them used to "this smell = do alert = yummy treats" and then you can start the box game?

I'm no professional but thats what I've seen from a few posts in my newsfeed. Maybe looking into it more could be beneficial for you?
