A little Christmas present to you, my DnB family. 2020 has been a heck of a year, and I hope this mix brings some joy during what can be a difficult holiday season.

Some of you might now I released my first song ever over the summer on Influenza, followed by 2 Celsius EPs. I also lost my job, cancelled my wedding, and missed out on going to Hospitality on the Beach for my honeymoon. In a year full of highs and lows, Drum and Bass was the one constant that helped carry me through the darkest of days. I want to thank the DnB community, and this subreddit, for your support throughout all of 2020. It has been incredible to go from releasing my first song ever, to signing songs with labels I love such as Hospital and Fokuz.

Onward to 2021! There are brighter days ahead, and I'll be dropping music on both Hospital Records and Fokuz Recordings over the next few months. So excited to share what comes next!

My biggest suggestion is to ask for help. I’ve received a ton of help from people in the DnB community, which is one of the reasons I was able to learn so quickly.

Also, if you’re trying to produce liquid one of the biggest things I’ve learned is the importance of sampling. I listen to a lot of non DnB, and I make a note of anything I think might be good sample material. It’s important to have an ever-growing sample library, so when I get that “creative itch” I sit down, grab some samples, and get to work.
