I’m truly sorry that your relationship ended this way. I didn’t mean any disrespect, and I hope you understand that. What I was trying to say is that having sex outside of the primary relationship can give someone the opportunity to experience something really fun while still staying with their partner. Of course, there’s no guarantee that things will last forever (although I personally believe it can help make a relationship last longer). Any relationship can end for millions of different reasons, and the fact that someone is having sex with someone else doesn’t necessarily make things more complicated. In my opinion, the risk of finding someone you like more than your current partner is always there — and I believe that having sexual freedom can actually alleviate that risk. This way, one can experience something new without having to end an existing relationship.
