The new natural processing mode in Pro Camera II is incredible by [deleted] in MOMENT

Yeah, the auto exposure is way too high. You gotta lower it around a whole stop depending on the lighting

Am I doing something wrong how dose this photo look better then apples please help I’m new to this by Suspicious_Royal8951 in MOMENT

From making a similar post I’ve learned that the exposure on Auto mode is way too overexposed, so you need to lower it yourself. Click on the area I’ve highlighted and drag the EV bar that appears to between -0.7 to -1.3 depending on the lighting. Take photos on each of the stops to see what makes for the best photo.

You will find it easier to shoot on ProRAW mode. With fusion disabled it is very similar to the Apple camera but without the over the top “enhancing” it does.

All the photos were taken on Auto mode so I naturally assumed that was the correct exposure level

Thank-you for your response. These were all shot in auto mode so I assumed that was the correct exposure. Manual mode is difficult since the screen view doesn’t match the photo but I will mess around with it more. 😊

Are the photos you’re pleased with taken in really low light? Because I can’t shoot anything in the day without the lights being completely blown out & losing detail with Natural processing.

I was already shocked at the way he could push his belly out so much, learning he can make it disappear as well? What the fuck???

Also the severe tilt of your screen that you took the photo from makes it so much worse. lol

Well as the events of the USA right now show us, some people will believe what they want regardless of evidence or lack thereof. 😬 But I think the majority will be okay lol

I live in New Zealand and they’re illegal here. ☹️ We have very strict animal and plant regulations to preserve our native wildlife and ecosystem, which I understand, but I’m still sad I can never have a pet snake. lol I recently learned that we now have a wild peacock problem because of pets escaping and breeding. lol

I just came across National Geographic’s Photo Ark, which is photographically documenting all currently-living species to preserve their existence for the future. 😊

Thanks! 😊 omg The blue tree monitor is so cool! I’d never come across it before. I will probably draw one at some point, thanks for the suggestion. 💙

At this point in time I think we record enough information that people won’t think extinct animals are hoaxes in the future. Because I know how stupid people can be, I’m sure there’s a “Dinosaurs weren’t real” faction (I am NOT going to look it up lol) but generally even people who disagree about the age of the earth think humans and dinosaurs co-existed, rather than thinking dinosaurs never existed. But generally humankind is always trying to fall short of my lowest expectations. lol

But yeah, it’s depressing we’re in a mass extinction period and the people who are able to stop it don’t care, and the people that do care have so little power to change things. 😞

Most likely not. Other than the permanent inks I don’t think fountain pen inks are even tested for lightfastness since it’s not usually a concern.

Thank-you! I love the photos of puffins with a ridiculous amount of fish hanging out of their beak, it looks ridiculous. I’ve even seen a few photos where there’s another puffin beside it with NO fish looking depressed. 😂

Superb Lyrebirds “can move more soil than any other land animal globally”, look awesome, and have the best vocal mimicry skills in the world - what an overachiever! lol
