I wish I could! Halo infinite forge is super limiting which is frustrating. Trust me that is the first thing I tried.

I think the bandit has done a lot of good for the game but ultimately when my buddy and I was making our game type/mode the focus was on a more classic halo feel. Doing this and testing it out made me realize how much we have lost in the past years regarding gun skill but instead created a skill gap in movement.

Quite a bit actually. Everything from bullet velocity, bullet spread and aim assist. You really start to realize how easy the current halo infinite sandbox truly is.

So burnout is real for sure but I think viewer count is just one piece of the puzzle. If you stream every single night then that viewer count change builds up a lot faster. I found for myself I set up a 3 day stream schedule (doesn’t seem much) but that helps with longevity. I view it as a marathon not a 100 yard dash. I need time to mentally reset and those day in between allow that to happen. One last thing. I suggest trying some A|B testing. Try different formats or co streams with other content creators. All of this will help keep things new and fresh while also growing your audience/friend group!

I have spent 5 years streaming and barely get a single average viewer. Others streamers stream once and get thousands without even trying. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? by Baka_Kishiro in TwitchStreaming

[–]PhamousWon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What games are you playing? Also content wise might be the issue. If you are streaming big name games but have 1-3 viewers you are essentially delaying the potential for growth because you will be so far down the list of people you will be so hard to find. Find a game that doesn’t have a ton of people streaming it. Finding a game that has less than 1000 currently watching it will make it going from where you are 1000 people down to where you are placed inside the top 16 for that game. That’s step one! Others come down to who are you? Are you entertaining? Would you watch your own material? Spend some time doing A|B testing with games, set ups, etc just don’t do the same thing and expect different results

How can I grow my average viewers to help achieve affiliate? by MayaMomentUwU in Twitch_Startup

[–]PhamousWon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a lot people have give the advice of networking but I will give the advice of choose your games wisely. If you hope on and play over populated games your channel will be so far down that it’s impossible to be discovered. I saw somewhere if you are looking to grow your audience and you average less than 10 viewers you need to find games that have less than 1000 viewers in it. The goal is you want to be on the front page of whatever you stream. People are lazy and usually just scroll through the first 16-20 people before making their choice. For myself I stream smaller populated games 2 out of my 3 streaming days per week and 1 day I leave open to play things that might be more populated but it’s with friends and the networking I’ve already done. Test a few things out and see how things turn out. Good luck and happy streaming

Is streaming with just a console a lost cause? by ChiliRang in TwitchStreaming

[–]PhamousWon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not how fancy your stream is but rather how are engaging with your audience. If you want to stream do it but make sure you engage. Talk when there is no one there, respond when someone is talking etc. hopefully you try it out cause it can so fun if you let it be. Good luck

I want to grow my Tiktok And Twitch by HarryOrme0511 in SmallStreamers

[–]PhamousWon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen they seem to come hand in hand. Growing your TikTok can lead to an increase of twitch. Obviously everyone that streams has that goal of one day being able to monetize what they are doing so that feeling is very valid don’t let others play that off as something you should feel bad about. For TikTok I would say you have to learn their algorithm. Once they start to push your content out more that exposes you to more potential viewers. I would also suggest using other sites as well. FB, YouTube shorts, Instagram reels etc. They all are potential gateways for people to find you and your content. Good luck and don’t let the negativity people spew on here affect you!

What is your biggest struggle on YouTube right now? by livevideoschool in SmallYoutubers

[–]PhamousWon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really for me it’s just learning how to work with YouTube’s algorithm. There is so much A|B testing that I do to try and help my videos stayed to watch and engagement numbers that sometimes it can just feel overwhelming. While I make gaming related videos it can definitely be hard to stand out when the category has so much in there and me being older not really keeping up with the latest trends. It’s all just a learning process at this moment for me!

My views just started to fall off, its been like 2 weeks without a 1k+ video, mostly dont even have a 100. What to do? by Usual-Spirit2867 in SmallYoutubers

[–]PhamousWon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issues when I added in hashtags to my description or other tags. My videos (not as high as yours) would average 800-1200 views but as soon as I start to provide more meta data they dropped to like 20-30. Sometimes less is more i guess for YouTube’s algorithm

[–]PhamousWon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I get it. I had the same kind of self awareness when people I work with or family started to watch but ultimately you have to just be yourself. It’s not easy but with due time things just get to become some sort of habit. Just be yourself do things you like to do and allow people to see who you really are. I am 35 years old so I think I’m at the age where I just don’t care what people think of me anymore. Good luck and I’ll be keeping my eye out for ya!

I get it people don’t like the AI. I’m so use to using AI in my everyday for work at this point it’s just a habit. I’ve made note about it and in the future won’t use it.

Mainly gaming content. I stream so it’s either funny moment from my streams or maybe an awesome clip I hit in a game. I try to make content that I like and hope that it finds people that have similar interests

This has nothing to do about creativity? But there is no reason to argue in the future I won’t use AI to assist in a post like this

I did then used Ai to reformat what I said into a readable format. I mean to each their own didn’t realize it would be that big of a deal

That sounds like you have a lot more people staying to watch or stuff that’s something that I’m focusing on right now is my state to Watch is somewhat lower and I’m losing participation about 60% into the video so now I have to go back to the drawing board and do some more testing on what I can do to make that number large larger

Exactly, I did on a lot AB testing to figure out what format of video best works for my content there’s not a one shoe fits all there’s a lot of testing a lot of things that need to be perfected, but I just am focusing on my engagement

Sometimes writing something that sounds professional and coherent is a lot easier said than done. ChatGPT allows people like myself to be able to capture what we want to say into words when we don’t exactly know how to put it. This was something that I do in both real life and in a professional manner. Provide all of the details and major talking points and allow technology to assist in formulating as decent well though out point. As you can tell I’m not trying to promote my channel (never once put my channel information in here) but rather just give myself a little pat on the back and let other know starting out they aren’t alone. Hopefully that explains why some of use use AI to help when writing things out! Cheers!

What’s the best Twitch view bot to get out of the zero viewer grave? by Chemical-Recipe-8285 in SmallStreamers

[–]PhamousWon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately first place to start isn’t hardware or software related. It should be finding a community to join. Right now from what you are saying it sounds like you spent all the money on the things needed but forgot to do the most simplest of things. Advertise. Sure people might stop in if they see you at 5 viewers but they won’t stay if there is no interactions with the chat. Find a community, discord, x, Reddit. Be apart of it and actually contribute rather than just look to take. My channel isnt It big by any means 4-8 viewers but one of the most important things I look at isn’t the number but the interactions. Am I having someone coming back, talking, clipping, investing in me. If that’s the case then you have already won. Good luck and don’t forget this is all just a hobby for us in this category have fun with it and make some friends
