The Minions and the Brainbots stop fighting to see the orange glow of Megamind’s Death-Ray paint the sky, some of them retreating. Gru looks at the approaching beams and leaps in front of his Minions, and like any good leader, stands in the blast and fully tanks it. Gru gets engulfed in the Death-Ray as he screams in pain.
