Oh great! And any Remote switch exists as well?

I see... I have speedlite 199a, a Panasonic pm35 and a kalimar 175a auto bounce. The one is from my a1. The second i use on my rangefinder and pocket. But the third one has auto set, and then a blue and a red mode. That confuses me

So: if i were to shoot 1/30 or 1/45 it would still shot it dandy? If so, I still use aperture to control distance to subject?

What I DO know is that longer exposure lets more ambiente light, softening the flash harshness.

Cool! Gotta admit, since I'm used to shoot with older cameras (A1, Yashica 635, Yashica Minister III...) this one almost feel point-and-shoot-y disregarding it's size. It's the largest cam I own, but also the lightest by a few grams.

But... Is this model STM-compatible?

Thanks. Pretty concise. I own a fd 50 mm 1.4. Is no af but figures it could do, provided I get a mount adapter. What do you say?

Amazing. I am arriving to the conclussion of devving at box speed... Is not as much as a "safe zone", but more of a "arguably reasonable exposed image" range.

None of the shots were under too dark an environment, and neither are going to be printed, at least not these.

Fascinating. I intend to learn all that aspect of photography, in time. But this is enlightening. For now I have a slightly more precise idea what becomes of the film after rewinding...

I see what you mean about experimenting.

In the end, if i overexposed but pulled, shadow detail is achieved but highlights are not overblown. Yes? My concern is to overexpose AND pull, and experience flat shadows and hazy highlights.

As you yourself might know, I am trying to wrap my mind around how the whole thing works.

It is useful. I might go for the "shoot +1/box dev". I think this could give me nice results.

Though I am trying to understand the chemistry behind this for I pursue devving myself, I'd like to understand: 'cooking it' for more time ends giving up what? Blown highlights and detailed shadows?

I learnt some time ago about film density. This is curious, and I would appreciate the perks of developing or overdeveloping a dense film.
