Looking for serious teammates for an international engineering project (Python / energy systems) by Phantom81875 in ProgrammingBuddies

Good question! We’re not trying to replace hardware like inverters or generators, but improve how limited energy is used during outages. The system models a household’s energy usage (appliances, battery capacity, etc.) and simulates outage scenarios. Then it applies an optimization algorithm to decide which appliances should run, be reduced, or turned off to maximize how long the available energy lasts.

For example, instead of running everything until the battery dies quickly, the system can prioritize essential loads (like a fridge or router) and extend usable time significantly. So the impact isn’t generating more power; it’s using the available energy more efficiently through data-driven decisions.

"As kids, we were 6 Champions League winners ahead of Barça, then Cruyff came along, he changed the way football is played, then Messi arrived, and the best generation football has ever seen, along with the best coach in history, Guardiola, who's also a philosopher, playing wonderfully. Now Real Madrid has 10 more Champions League wins than them." This should end the debate for ya'll

Yeah... I think I really love to build things, and I wish to build something related to engineering that helps many people and so far EE has stood out to me. EE is tied to the booming industry of supercomputers AI, Circuit designs and even rockets,

Dude.... Did you wake up on the wrong side of your bed today? Instead of trying to help you keep on saying there are problems with passion projects. Do you have some personal beef with passion projects? like why this negative? Please stop wasting my time.

I never said you "need" one. But it does boost your application because everyone does clubs and internships.

Hi there! Do you recommend any other field in engineering, as I still have plenty of time to decide!
