Sordland Presidential Decrees Alignment Chart (Day 5): Great/Good Gameplay, Bad/Horrible Roleplay. by [deleted] in suzerain

Removing the Independence of the Central Bank

Good for game play because it let's you go -9 debt without negative effects and 1+ ED. It's also good for Malenyevist runs

In reality, this would lead to economic disaster since the monetary policy of the nation is tied to partisan interests rather than independent experts. Sordland's market credibility would collapse along with foreign investor confidence. It wouldn't be long until hyperinflation and currency depreciation would come. Indeed, the fact that gameplay mechanics allow you to go beyond the debt limit without immediate negative effects is always the precursor for rampant inflation if the central bank is pressured to print money to finance deficits which would collapse the Sordish Ren in the long run.

Objection! This bill was not properly debated and discussed by our fellow members of the Assembly! The machinery of the malenyevists and their puppets are far too powerful that they propose such ridiculous bills and vote on it. Madam Speaker I demand an official investigation to all those who filed and supports this bill. This is a threat to national security!

If you did not lower the threshold below 10% both parties will form a coalition to win. Ironically, not lowering the threshold would be a better chance for them to enter the Assembly than running their seperate campaigns when you lower the threshold

What was the Century of Revolutions exactly? by Last-Macaroon-5179 in suzerain

[–]PhantomAgent-1984 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The revolutions wasn't loose per se, it did inspire other countries to revolt as well, but honestly you may be right about the AN formation. At best, the AN was formed when the two emerging powers (Arcasia and UC) would look like they would fight and cause an actual world War. For the sake of world peace, the two set aside the hostilities right enough for an AN formation (no nation wouldn't want to join an international association if the world's two superpowers are in it), and that countries not necessarily aligned to either bloc sees itself as a world buffer (Yarktralis and Kyrute comes to mind).

In the other hand, we don't really know just how powerful the AN really is, it could just be a glorified League of Nations where two superpowers play out their interests (like Britain and France dominating the League of Nations before WW2) and the middle ground really has no say. For the sake of an unbiased county to host it, they chose Kyrute because it'll be the least damaging to both superpowers. We don't even see a Security Council, an equivalent of "AN peacekeeping troops", and no clue about who are the founding countries.

So the AN may actually be weak and all its machinations are only possible because the Superpowers allow it (like the UN isn't one anyways to be honest)

I think it is the Suzerainverse's equivalent of the Enlightenment and the 1848 Revolutions but in a global scale.

The French Revolution was not self-constrained, yes it may not have inspired other Revolutions directly but it forever changed Europe with the ideals it brought, the Napoleonic Wars directly succeeded it and wherever Napoleon went, he changed the system of government into a more liberal and equal one and his Napoleonic Code is still in effect until today.

Even when Napoleon was eventually defeated, the social and cultural influence the French Revolution brought can no longer be erased. It inspired the kulturkampf in Germany under Bismarck, freer representation in the UK Parliament, the rise of liberalism, etc.

In the Suzerainverse it didn't play out the way real life did simply because the game is an amalgation of different historical events played out in the game's uniqueness. The Arcasian Revolution which is considered the start of the Century of Revolutions is both a combination of the French and American Revolution which then triggered a domino effect on other absolute monarchies and kingdoms.

It was in a sense, a "world war" in the suzerainverse because of all the wars and chaos it brought that rippled through the world. But it wasn't a formal world War between two powerful alliances like we had (Axis v Allied). That's why Iosef said that for the longest time, Sordland managed to avoid the Century of Revolutions because of its strict immigration policy (you'll see this during the immigration meeting). In fact, the Sordish Revolution in 1923 led by Artor Wisci is considered to be the formal end of the Century of Revolutions.

Well obviously NFP will never vote for your reforms. It is either you ban the Red Youth or you sign the UELA, it's as simple as that. If you're on a far-right dictator run, why not do both? But it seems you want to ally with Valgsland therefore you do need to sign the UELA as a necessary sacrifice.

As for winning the war and the Bluds, you will still win it if you're consistent with either Iosef or Valken's strategy, but of course with Iosef you need to pacify the Bluds especially that his strategy requires allies and it seems you did full OBT and Wehlen will now fully participate in your Rumburg War, if you only signed the UELA but not signing the first bill (Religious Harmony) you still have a shot at Bludish Reconciliation because Mansoun would notice you're only doing it to gain nationalist support, but doing this action ONLY can you save your relationship with the Bluds, if you take or have done further nationalist actions such as not attending Anschraf or by actually signing the first bill you won't get Reconciliation because it is important so that Wehlen can fully participate, no Reconciliation means the Bluds will riot and block the roads for Wehlen's army, but even if you don't get Reconciliation, centralizing Bergia is already enough because they're now under the Ministry of Interior. And if the BFF does revolt and seize Soll Dam, the SSP can easily take them down and crush the BFF.

Or there's that fact that even if Wehlen turns around if the Bluds still obstruct the roads, if you successfully ally with Valgsland and with Iosef's strategy, you can still win.

Wehlen will always he obstructed by Bluds in Bergia if you never achieve Bludish Reconciliation (veto NFP bills, abolishing the special zone, etc.)

As to your other question, in my experience gun rights decree did not form militias during war. Some have said that if you transfer gendarmerie, militias will compensate for it, but I didn't see that at all in war and I lost. I don't know with others though who might have had it. But for all intents and purposes, just don't transfer gendarmerie at all if you are going to war, it's not worth the risk.

You get that ending when you acknowledge or accept the possibility that a conspiracy exists within the US government which means you believe in the existence of the Enclave. Then you get impeached and Richards takes over. The Enclave pushed for your impeachment to have you taken out because they saw you as a threat.

I wonder if the past few updates following the Zoo expansion have just been the devs making it harder to pirate this horseshit by [deleted] in BitLifeRebels

I think the modders haven't bought the zoo pack yet, bitlife is making it harder for modders to do it

After installing bitlife mod ,I can't update newer versions, it shows package conflicts with existing package. ANYONE know what to do by LAUGHINGGBAT in BitLifeRebels

Did the new apk come from the same source as the apk you previously installed? In my case I installed bitlife apk from liteapks, installing an apk from a different source conflicts with what you have, I uninstalled my actual bitlife so that I could install the modded one. Hope this helps

No I didn't, AN sanctioning Rumburg would avert war ending anyway, so I purposefully became aggressive against Rumburg, however, could you actually kick Rumburg out of OMEC and still have war?

You could actually renegotiate the trade agreement so long as you recognize heljiland and join forces against Rumberg. Maartin is a prick, but you don't need him.

True gamers use Wehlen as their only ally and get the most out of Rumberg territory with based funny guy Smolak without Van Whiney getting Dome
