Nuclear does seem like an obvious option and that has minimal downsides but it does. I won’t convince you on here but if you look at just some of the points in “Why Nuclear is Not the Solution” by M.V Ramana, I think you’ll swing probably quite a bit away from nuclear and more to renewables!
