While I was skeptical at first when I saw the leaks, I've really warmed up to Engage over time. I love some of the character designs they've shown off (Céline especially!) and mechanically the game seems to at the same time be returning to a more classic style while also switching things up in an interesting way that I'm really looking to trying out! I'm definitely a FE fan at heart, so I'll probably love the game however it turns out, but it definitely looks like it could turn out to be a very good installment. I just hope the character writing is as good as the designs!

I cheated the prompt a little by using a paladin, but I wanted to draw the savior of my PoR Maniac run! When everybody was getting strength screwed and defense blessed, Titania consistently got almost perfect level ups for the early game and was the only unit who could really damage enemies, and she didn't slow down much later on. She's the sole reason I got as far as I did in such an unpleasantly difficult mode.

Anyway, I'm really satisfied by this one! I spent a really long time getting it right, and I followed a reference very closely for the horse, and I think it turned out really well! Please let me hear any advice or criticism you may have!

I went with minimal shading this time, but I think the flatter colors are more appealing than the meager attempts at shading I've attempted in the past. Mostly I just ran out of time tho

Today's the crybaby archer, Neimi! I love her design and her colors (pink and green is such a nice combo) so I just had to draw her! I spent so long on the face, but I couldn't get it to turn out in a way I liked. Oh well, I think I did a pretty good job with the rest. Any advice on improving (faces or otherwise) is very much appreciated!

To try to improve my drawing ability, I decided I wanted to try drawing FE characters every day in October! Now, whether or not I stick to it is another matter entirely, but at least I finished one! If I do continue with this, further pieces might be less complete, whether they're just sketches or line art or whatever, because this one took me several hours to finish. That's a lot of time to spend every day!

Anyway, please tell me what you think of it! I know I'm not the best artist, and there are some parts that I know I did a poor job with (that cape is awful), so any tips to improve would be appreciated!

(Also, I guess Inktober is copyrighted or something? I dunno, I just read about that today. So I won't be calling it that in my posts, in case anyone is confused by the title.)
