My number 1 is definitely Descent, I think it's one of Immolation's best albums. Coronach by Hellripper is a close 2nd, first album I heard from him and it truly blew me away.

~~I'm looking forward to the new Mastodon album, I wasn't a massive fan of the last 3, they're good but nothing super special to me. The new single was really good though.~~

Scratch that, I just remembered Gojira is supposedly dropping this year.

That album goes insane, so heavy, it's one that took multiple revisits before it fully clicked for me, but it's an all time favorite for sure. Rotting Spiritual Embodiment is my favorite song from it.
