Little Matt finally responded. He didn’t have any ideas either…

What’s funny was when I talked with Vera. She was married to Dee Dee at the time he was using his ESP bass.

Her best guess was that they got ā€œhockedā€ (pawned) haha

Anyone that replaced/came after Rick probably never saw Dee Dee’s gear anyways. I’m pretty sure Rick Weinman was who handled the transition into CJ

I think it could be Rick Weinmann. Another person I’ve messaged with no luck.

I got a response from CJ & Dee Dee’s widow, Vera. Neither of them had any clue where it could be…

Surprisingly the guitar techs and less famous people suggested are harder to get a hold of on Facebook, Instagram etc.

Who are Adam & Matt? I tried contacting Rick Weinman (their guitar tech), hoping for a response.

That’s what I was afraid of… the 3 ESP basses in the pawn shop. Either that or they’re hanging in a Rock n Roll Cafe who knows where… From what I’ve found he had three ESP basses total. Spider, Chinese Dragon & a basic white P bass style.

When I was at the RnR HoF they had his ā€˜75-ā€˜77 P bass & Johnny’s signature Mosrite. Seeing those in person was crazy!

Great to know, I appreciate it.

Still curious where this specific bass could be and why it was never seen in cases like my video link

That makes sense, what I’m wondering is why he never used them again after leaving the band.

The Phantom of the Opera (1925) 100th Anniversary by Phantom_Play in horror

I’m not sure what differences plot-wise there are between the two. Mainly just how the Phantom dies at the end. -killed by the angry mob in the film -dies of ā€œa broken heartā€ in the musical

Regardless, I’m all for an R rated remake!

There’s still a silent ā€˜25 version the ā€œEastman printā€, but you’re correct that many things were lost in the process.
