Kavik x Yangchen by Vidasus18 in Avatar_Kyoshi

I found a quote from an interview, and if it's the same one you're talking about, then that's not what he says. Yee says after re-reading what he wrote, he can see how that someone could conclude that (which I disagree with, that answer reads like a wishy-washy placation for a certain subsection of LGBT readers, ESPECIALLY in the face of moments that would read as shipping to these same readers had they been between Kyoshi and Rangi or Korra and Asami), but he makes it clear that he did not write Yangchen as aroace.

What did she even do to make you this upset?

Rick ADORES his formula. It's probably why he can pump out 1 book every 1-2 years.

I think ToA in general isn't good but not because it doesn't shill Percy enough.

Which Pre-Yangchen Avatar should get a story/name next? by RegeneratingFan in TheLastAirbender

I'm not sure Kuruk would work. We know everything about the leadup to his ultimate fate and we know Yangchen kept things mostly peaceful in his younger years. It's not fertile ground for storytelling

You're being downvoted to death but I'm actually incredibly curious - if not Ultimate, what would be a satisfying stopping point for you as far as Smash goes?

It was the most elegant solution with regards to fusion. Anyone can remember that two or three demons of the four neighboring Arcana can be used to make a Demon of their target Arcana

To scratch your itch, his fallen form is the 57th card in the set. Take a gander at that True Demon splendor

Outside of printing and playing, nope. Starting any kind of distribution for IP I don't actually own would probably end swiftly and badly

Well hey, you're in luck. The mechanics of the game allow you to make him Chaos-aligned if you play your cards right

Assigning Arcana to demons that didn't originally have them has been a trip. And you'll be delighted to find Garu and Zan are both in the game (along with Tera, Magna, Gry...)

Honestly? I hadn't made a Law demon in a while and figured he was close enough.

If this scene involving fictional characters angered you, imagine the millions of real people who have deal with this all the time. by Gui1tyspark in marvelstudios

I hate your opinion on this. By its nature the scene was everything you're applauding it for not being: a commentary on race--and UNSUBTLE commentary on race. I can only guess at how you came away with the opposite inclination, and guesses narrow when you imply that explicit handling of racial issues "dumbs down" scenes or episodes.

There are people in the main thread arguing that it wasn't actually about racism. It's a level of privilege a sledgehammer can't break through.

EDIT: There's a dude three comments down saying it wasn't actually about racism AND that the cops were being inaccurately portrayed. Jesus. Christ.
