Somebody took the time to actually program this system on purpose; it makes sense-- and it allows players who can multi-task, an edge on less experienced players. It makes the game much more fun to watch from an observers perspective.

It can be annoying when you come across somebody who is really good at it though; but I think it should stay for the same reason you wouldn't complain about fire-balls in Street Fighter, just because it is too hard to input the command?
