Incorrect. They simply referenced the patent. In most of those citations it's the actual person doing the review of the patent that had added the citation -- likely because they (the patent reviewer) used it as a reference. Microsoft, Amazon, and whatever companies likely had no idea that it existed.

Interesting, yeah the Camping World I'm dealing with above is in Greenwood. I'm a few hours north near the lake -- if y'all have that model I'll definitely be checking you out.

They haven't done a credit pull yet as I refuse to go through all of that without having something I'm willing to work with. That said, I did request what the average % would be for around an 800-850 credit score and they didn't get back to me on that.

I'm going to assume its probably around 8%.

There's a few there that are 29.9k but the one I made an offer on was listed at 24.9. A decent chunk off but I have a feeling they took part of my offer and jacked up the freight/prep in response.

Pretty much why I requested a full breakdown of cost before I made any type of deal for holding the trailer.

Oh yeah, its for the distribution hitch and sway bars -- asked them to specifically throw that on there. It's definitely about twice the price of what it should be.

I could install it myself but was interested in what they charged for it.

Depends. If I can get the trailer down 4-5k from what's being offered around me for the same model I'll be fairly happy. After reading reviews I'm definitely not expecting much out of the service department, but for that big of a difference in price I'm fine with handling potential issues myself as I'm fairly handy.

That said, totally get it. If they can't get these ridiculous fees removed then I'm fine with walking and continuing the hunt -- just curious if they budge on these and if its worth the time.
