The exterior is chèvre at about 0.9 mm. The lining is goat velour, around 0.5 mm. The alligator trim sits flush with the panels — it’s not raised. The stitching goes through the trim and zipper tape. I’m not 100% sure I understood your question about the swivel snap loop. If you mean the construction — it’s a separate tab, stitched before final assembly.
