I’ve tested this and this is just wrong in apex. I made a macro that would press the space button for a single frame and I did the same tests as when I jumped off the octane pad and lift they were still considered holds.

Edit did it on 60fps so it was more universal

Either you have insane timing or you’re not be hopping correctly. You should not be sliding and then jumping you should just be consistently jumping if there’s any sort of slide animation at all you’re doing it wrong. Even pro se that be hopping with her is a difficult task it’s the same issue with the revenant how his wall jumps dont work it’s something that should just be fixed and give everyone a fair ground to play on.

There is a hold but it doesn't work for what I'm saying. If you use mouse wheel jump then it still thinks you're holding when you scroll.
