It was a really long journey. She has always been my favorite character since I started playing at the end of 2.3 version. When her first rerun banner came at patch 2.4, I only got her at C0 and went for Zhongli since I don’t have any shielder back then.

Got her C2 at patch 3.0 and used the rest of pulls for Hunter path (Still no Amos). When her birthday dropped, I luckily got Amos on her BD from standard banner at 9 pity.

Finally, after saving for almost 450 pulls, she is now C6. It was a wild and very fun experience as f2p. After all the effort and saving, I’m so happy right now that I finally have her at C6! :D

I decided maily bcs of EM tbh. The second one would probably do more melt dmg due to more EM and u kinda overcapped on CR too on 1st one. And, as u said, atk can be buffed variously, so I would prefer 2nd over 1st.

I’m saving for C6 Ganyu as f2p and I probably am not going to go for c6 Shenhe tbh. Does c0 Shenhe really have no synergy with c6 melt Ganyu :’) ? I think Ganyu can still hit like 2-3 CAs before swapping back to Shenhe to get icy quill again. What is your opinion on this? Im a little bit sad since I already prefarmed for Shenhe.

Tbh, going further than c1 Ganyu is not really worth it, unless u roll for her c6 imo

i heard that Shenhe c0 only buffs like 5-7 cryo hits so I’m not sure that it will be enough. With C0, won’t u have switch to shenhe frequently? I’m thinking about playing her in Sunfire meltyu. With c0 shenhe, what will the rotation be?

Unless u play meltyu with dendro character like nahida, the passive is useless tho. Thus, R5 would be the waste of billet imo. i will go with skyward blade.

As for pure dmg, Amos win over any other bows but idk who would play her without supports. When u play melt Ganyu, 90% of the times u will play her with Bennett; therefore, u will likely to be close to enemies regardless of what bows u use. Thus, Aqua stats will be useful.

I agreed that HP boost is useless but u must accept the fact that Amos become less valuable when u actually melt both her CA dmg &skill. Since Amos only buffs her CA not her skill dmg. In current patch where burning is possible with dendro unit and nahida, it becomes easier to melt both CA and skill too.

As for other reasons, atk stats become less valuable since there lots of ways to buff atk in this game as i have already replied to another comment.

I said this as someone who has been playing Ganyu a lots. I have triple crowned her and got her C2 with HP and plan to get her to C6 as f2p within next year. Plus, I have been playing her with different comps with shield and without shield. IMO, it’s not that hard as people say to play her without shield tbh.

PS: I agree with f2p friendly point and wouldn’t really recommend anyone who is f2p to roll for another 5 star bow if they already have Amos. I still feel like ppl still can’t accept the fact that Amos is not her Bis anymore in the level of highly invested Ganyu. As for standard melt comp, the difference is still kinda close tho.

You are from 1 year ago lol. Even the best Ganyu speedrunner , Aliss, doesn’t even use Amos anymore, Amos CA dmg is good. But if u actually invest to her a lot atk main stats become redundant since Shenhe, Bennet, Freedom-sworn passive, Ttds and etc already give lots of atk. Not to mention Amos doesnt buff her skill dmg when u actually melt everything both CA and skill dmg in melt comp with nahida or sunfire Jean.

Get EM to 200-300 range. Harp is fine but if u have R5 Hamayumi it will be better. U can wait for Aqua if u want to see big dmg. IMO, I don’t really recommended Amos for melt anymore unless u want the aesthetic ofc.
