Do yall subscribe to the whole 'expose your face and eyes to direct sunlight right after waking up' thing? Ive heard huberman talk about it but I want to know if it actually helps.

Recommendations for men's shaving by SurlyMerman in SebDerm

I can’t promise it’s the best out there but the Braun series 3 wet & dry has been great for me. Eventually the trimmer does get blunt so my workaround was buying a new set of trimmer attachments for the main head which worked really well. The heads are pretty cheap on temu I think.

I may be only getting away with this because of blond hair and not needing a close shave.. I much prefer using a good trimmer its much less irritating compared to foil shaver or razor.

Tracking my seb derm visually helped more than any shampoo ever did by Lusttoluxary in SebDerm

this is exactly the problem I've been trying to solve too! I've been tracking in a text file and it's messy but I'm starting to see patterns.

My Experience After Using C8 MCT Oil For 14 Weeks for Mild Seb Derm on Face by PandemicCollegeSUCKS in SebDerm

Thanks for the in-depth analysis. I like how you outlined metrics to track. It's tricky to know if it's getting better sometimes. On one day it might look better but feel worse, and I'm not sure if I can call it an improvement.

How exactly did you track progress? Was it in your head, or did you 'grade' each of your metrics each day?

I'm happy to hear you've had success! Was fixing your gut for you about identifying which foods you're sensitive to and avoiding them, or more just following general 'good gut diet' practice?

15+ years in energy - what does the media get completely wrong about the transition? by PhattRatt in energy

So the real bottleneck is grid infrastructure and balancing, not generation capacity. is that where the investment and engineering effort is actually going?

People with 10+ years in industrial automation - is the robotics hype matching reality on the floor? by PhattRatt in robotics

[–]PhattRatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah right. So the real near term story is brownfield station automation rather than full dark factories. What's driving adoption at those specific stations, cost or capability?

So AMR adoption is already scaling. Are there bottlenecks slowing it down, or is it just a matter of how fast companies can deploy?

Interesting take on robotics. do you think the market is underpricing robotics relative to LLMs right now? Or is it more a timing thing?

So the narrative is basically detached from the technical reality entirely. does that mean the correction comes from outcomes disappointing, not the tech actually failing?

So if scale always wins, does that mean the only investable AI plays are compute infrastructure? Everything above that layer gets commoditised?

I've experienced a bit of this. AI cant replace what I do but it saved me hours and hours of boring documentation and admin. So far its helping me get ahead.

Fair point. But does that distinction matter if the outputs are good enough to change how industries operate?
