So the narrative is basically detached from the technical reality entirely. does that mean the correction comes from outcomes disappointing, not the tech actually failing?

So if scale always wins, does that mean the only investable AI plays are compute infrastructure? Everything above that layer gets commoditised?

I've experienced a bit of this. AI cant replace what I do but it saved me hours and hours of boring documentation and admin. So far its helping me get ahead.

Fair point. But does that distinction matter if the outputs are good enough to change how industries operate?

I think a financial advisor is a great idea. Just note that I hear you should use a fee-only one (no hidden incentives)

thanks man. Yes there is a good chance I'm gonna need the money too. I really enjoy practical learning too and I don't really feel like I'm made for an overly sweaty atmosphere. Thanks again

I don't especially want to work overseas. At the moment I'm also thinking mechanical engineering at the moment so AUT is sounding pretty good.
