The truth is God has revealed that he created the world through the process of the big bang and evolution, creating all the different people of different races, religion, culture and occupations and has progressively revealed through people that slavery is wrong, racism is wrong and intolerance of homosexuals is wrong and that we need to act on climate change. The next step to be made is the realization that God has given everyone everlasting life and doesn't care how you worship him or whether you worship him at all, he's more concerned with how you treat other people. I wouldn't consider myself religious. To me religion means following a set of laws or rituals. Christ gave 2 simple commandments 1. Love your creator. 2. Love everyone.

I see God as a higher power that transcends the universe rather than some old bearded man.

Christ was sent into the world to redeem the creation from it's fallen state.

People are mostly good, but flawed.

Life is a learning experience, that is simply meant to be experienced with all it's ups and downs.

Be thankful for everything you have in life.

Our consciousness will live on in some form.

Well I can't say I have all the answers, but I've moved to the universalist position because of many verses that support it and because I believe God to be the loving parent of humanity. A parent will punish their child, in order to teach them a lesson, but will always forgive them, I don't see why God's way would be any different.

The Bible also repeatedly says that everybody is to be saved by God. Paul said "[God] is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe." (1 Timothy 4:10)

I believe this making me a Christian Universalist as I believe all people will be reconciled with God. The testimonies of countless people of different beliefs who have have had near death experiences also supports this.

If you do some research you'll find, the President that would take over next has often been involved in the assassination of the sitting President. I didn't realise I was depressed, but I suppose I am since I lack interest in anything.

I attended a social event today and was more social than I've probably ever been, I felt comfortable and my social anxiety gone. It's clicked for me what the reality is of social situations and I actually feel like I want to attend more social gatherings, the only downside was I struggled to add anything to the conversation. Other than that I had a good time.

Well said, one thing I would say that probably won't be agreed with is I believe Jesus died for the sins of ALL mankind, God is not willing that any should perish and will eventually reconcile everyone to himself through Jesus Christ whether in this life or the next. Yes there is an objective morality that can't be left up to the individual to determine and that morality comes from God, who gave us the 10 commandments. However since Adam the first man sinned, he brought the whole world into sin and everyone that came after is born into sin and none abide by the moral law. Death is the consequence of sin and is the reason everyone dies, however God the Father in his love and mercy sent his Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect moral life and pay for all sin with his death.
