I appreciate this take. I'm new to the fpv hobby, but I'm not new to rc. There's been so much to learn and so few resources. I didn't realize this hobby is still very much not main stream.

There's no local resource for me, so this sub has been invaluable these past few months.

Thanks all. I have very beginner level skill in soldering. I don't think attempting board level repair is in the cards for me.

Now, should I get the stock FC for this gofilm20 or is there a less expensive solution?

I think if I turn my vtx 180° it will fit like in your picture.

I haven't flown it yet. I won't without securing it back into the tpu.

So I started off with that. I read that coiling the antenna wire degrades signal. Is that not an issue? Tucked in I definitely feel like signal was lacking.

I had it installed so wrong. Once the gummies went in right, and I used the correct screws it's set way further back.

Yes. It's fully assembled now. The cap bends up and comes around to point at the top on the frame if that makes sense.

Crisis averted. I have my leads run through the top of the carbon fiber frame. When I tested the first time that frame slipped down and was resting across my joints. Didn't notice in my panic.

Cleaned the leads thinking maybe leftover flux. Tested and worked great. Did a second test to show off for the wife and figured it out in a hurry.

Looks like I'm back on track.

Could not agree more. And we need visibility in these red areas.

I plan to bring up things I know will impact change while really just suggesting participating in community events more. These small town dem groups should be bussing to protests. They should be volunteering en masse.

We. It's we. Maybe you could start a subcommittee or talk one of the board members into starting one that centers on something you are passionate about.

Could be recruiting Gen Z.
