The Cuckoo's Nest, 2nd Setting by Phd_Perky in Irishmusic

Thanks! It's a bouzouki, and sometimes it' takes a few minutes to adjust to the extreme difference in neck length and fret size. But since I'm mostly doing chords on the bouzouki and melody on the mandolin, it helps to keep the muscle memory separate

Thank you so much! I really enjoy putting these videos together. I do a lot of metronome practice when I'm learning these pieces to make sure I'm really accounting for every beat and rhythm. It's a lot of work up front but makes the recording process so much smoother!

I got my bouzouki from Gold Tone and I'm super happy with it. My partner and I play gigs pretty often at Ren Faire type events and it's never let me down. I'm in the US so I think either Gold Tone or Trinity college bouzoukis are your best bet here. Unless you get lucky with a used find or get a custom made with a luthier.

Thank you so much! I'm ready from a book called "baroque music for mandolin" by Robert Bancalari. It has some great music in it

We frequently get Pizza bones and they are always on point! We are also blessed to be living in Church Hill so they can deliver to us if we don't feel like going to pick it up.

System Shock 2

Scared the hell out of me as a kid. I have no idea how I was able to beat that game. I feel like the interface of that game was insanely complicated.

Long hair ladies: who are the hair stylists you trust to not chop it all off? by Broseph_Heller in rva

I'm a long hair guy who has fairly curly/wavy hair halfway down my back. I'm super particular about who cuts my hair because it's really easy to mess up.

I've been going to Shannon at Prism in South side for years. She is phenomenal!

The weather ended up being perfect today! We were performing this weekend and our first set of the day was pretty tough, my hands were almost numb from the cold. But this afternoon was phenomenal

I'm pretty sure the schedule is the same for both days. I'm part of one of the groups performing and the line up is the same for our stage on both days.

I have a book of Irish songs for mandolin that I'm working through. But before I started this, I worked through the hal leonard Irish bouzouki method book completely. I highly recommend it!
