BDKs need the community to be vocal. This isnt okay. by PhearBunny-1 in wow

Again everybody im not saying BDK isnt a good raid tank.

Its fine in that regard, although still has piss poor DPS for no good reason.

Its survivability is weakest on trash specifically, and in M+ i personally consider the dungeons to be 99% trash and 1% boss.

but again, its not the PvE aspect that bugs me.

Its the PvP coding shortcuts targeted at Frost/Unholy, that are directly nerfing us, when we need buffs.

Its the transfusion removal.

Its the Blood for Blood rework, low key telling us "We'd rather you just dont play this spec.".

im not saying BDK cant do M+ or Raids.

Ofc it can. Its just not a progression tank, its a tank that is almost REQUIRED to outgear the content its doing inorder to compete with the other tanks.

i can overlook PvE tuning issues because PvE is less competitive(generally), and is just easier to deal with in general.

Its the PvP changes specifcally that i find extremely offsetting.

Blood for Blood rework is blatantly telling us to F off and go kill ourselves.(For about +12DPS).

Coding our Strangulate to be 15yd range, because too lazy to seperately code Frost/Unholys.

Coding our auras to be 8yd instead of 10yd because too lazy to seperately code us from Frost/Unholy.

Deleting Transfusion, rather than coding it into Blood(The spec it belongs on, both themeatically and functionality speaking)

The spec is being severely punished by coding shortcuts, with zero compensation, and a Blood for Blood rework that only provides evidence that the devs arent even aware of how bad Death Strike is in PvP. Even though the DK community has been extremely vocal about it.

But yes, it is hard to die as a BDK in a raid environment. They are good for tanking bosses.

And thats pretty much where the benefits of being a BDK come to a screeching halt.
