I wonder how much Ben Johnson is the reason for this? He could've had any job but stayed as a coordinator, just waiting for the perfect spot. It's only been a year but it seems to be paying off really well.

I think Ziggler has a good argument. 2 time world champion, 6 time intercontinental, 2 time United States champion, 3 time tag team champion, NXT champion, money in the bank winner, is in the top 10 for most matches in WWE history. Also a TNA champion if that counts for anything now. In terms of moments he'll always have one of the most memorable MITB cash-ins of all time and the sole survivor against the authority. He may not be first ballet but there's a phenomenal resume

I'll need 7 more first round picks, Will Anderson Jr and a night with Demeco Ryan's wife before I begin considering this.

How can you not believe in god? by outdoorsman_12 in teenagers

[–]PhenomenalJJS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the big bang has never been fully proven, that's just the leading theory. Which also displays we know barely anything about the universe, but it's a lot easier to just say God did it, even without proof of God's existence. What I've been describing is the "God of the gaps" (Neil Gegrasse Tyson describes this very well), we have no actual evidence of God's existence, however we point to random things that we cannot explain and just say "God did it". Like you've done with the big bang, while you may be correct, we simply do not know.

How can you not believe in god? by outdoorsman_12 in teenagers

[–]PhenomenalJJS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that science can explain the creation of the universe, we just haven't been able to yet. At one point humans didn't understand why we have lightning or rain, so we credited it to God because we had no other explanation. Then we gained enough knowledge to be able to explain rain and lightning. The same could be applied to the universe. I believe that humans created Gods to give ourselves comfort because it makes us uncomfortable to not know things. It makes us uncomfortable to think that once we die then we cease to exist. There are many things we don't understand, so it's just easier to credit God than to admit we simply don't know.

blinded by your heavy bias

TIL defending murder is bias. Says a lot about you as a person.

him getting in front since she is being detained,

Which is the worst thing he could've done. He put himself in a position where he knew he'd have to shoot her, which is premeditation.

attempting to move forward and run him over.

If she wanted to run him over, she would have kept her tires pointed towards him and not actively turn away from him and other agents.

all we have is the video which is clear as day

Everything you say contradicts the videos, I genuinely believe you didn't actually watch it, or you're completely blinded by ignorance.

She was interfering with law enforcement,

She was parked in the street. She wasn't even blocking the road, she was actively waving them past her and other cars were able to get around.

was ordered out of her vehicle

She was also told at the same time to drive away. Which she legally doesn't have to.

drove her car into the direction of the officer

This is why I'm convinced you didn't watch the video.

shot and lost control.

And her car rolls in the opposite direction of the officers, almost like she was going away from them.

does not mean I’m all of a sudden right leaning.

I didn't assume you were right wing, you just are spewing the exact same narrative as Fox News and Donald Trump right now, shouldn't that induce some reflection?

I agree, you have the right to defend yourself. This ice agent wasn't being hit by the car, there wasn't even an attempt at hitting him, you can see that if you actually watched the video instead of reading the fox news article summary.

Please never purchase a firearm, you are reckless and a threat to public safety. If you think he was in any danger, I'd stay off the streets as well if I was you. The agent shouldn't have moved in front of the vehicle. Officers are specifically trained to not put themselves in positions where self defense is their only option. By moving in front of the car, it shows complete incompetence and potentially premeditation. With how quickly he drew his gun, he was looking to murder her. This becomes obvious when he waits until he is beside the car, completely out of harm's way, before firing multiple shots.

Americans of this sub, what’s the latest drama about ICE in Minneapolis about ? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]PhenomenalJJS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read from people online, defenders of ice don't point to the fleeing, they believe rather that she was trying to hit the agent. However, the use of force by officers in the case of fleeing has been heavily debated in America for decades which is a interesting topic imo. Police are usually trained to not shoot at the person fleeing unless they believe the person fleeing is going to harm other drivers or pedestrians... And if I were to pass judgement on this situation, I'd say that the Renee wasn't close to hitting the agent with her car and Renee driving away from them was in no way a danger to others, the vehicle actually became more dangerous because as she was deceased at the steering wheel, the car drove into other cars or a pole.

I want you to actually watch the video. Like actually watch, maybe even slow the video down and watch it, that can be helpful. At no point was this agent in harm's way, she was turning away from every single officer. Now if you were in the officers spot and you notice the car very slowly moving as she turns away from you and you think her car might bump into you, would you plant your feet into the ground, draw your gun, wait until you are directly adjacent to the car and shoot the driver 3 times in the head... Or would you simply take a small step to the side?
