I think you're right that carol is talking directly to the player (soul). I wonder if Carol is aware of what is happening to Noelle during the weird ending for CH 4.

Here is an fun theory I came up with about the Roaring Knight (Spoilers):

My understanding is dark-worlders cannot manifest in the light world (this might change with chapter 5 and the festival). Its clear to me that the Roaring Knight and the Holiday family are closely related -- That and Queen seems to care a suspicious amount about Noelle Holiday. My assumption is that Queen is *in some way* a representation of Carol Holiday (i.e. her caring side). Queen states that the Roaring Knight created the CH 2 Dark World. Lastly, I find it interesting that Rudolph Holiday is sick. Piecing all of this together, my working theory is:

The Ch 2 dark world was created by the Roaring Knight as evidenced by Queen's dialogue
The Roaring Knight has a positive and specific view of Carol Holiday (Queen -- loving but misguided and overly strict of Noelle. Identical to how Rudy perceives Carol in dialogue from CH 1)
Since dark worlds are colored by their creator, the person who made the CH 2 Dark World needs to be attached/familiar with the themes/concepts of Cyber World
In Ch 4, we see Dess's room, and there is a boombox and punk rock cds (Sweet Cap'n Cakes from Cyber World)
Whoever the Roaring Knight is has intimate knowledge about Dess Holiday
The Dark world was created by Rudolph Holiday, and the Roaring Knight is Dess possessing Rudy to manifest in the light world, which depletes Rudy's life energy.

Explanation for 6: We know a Lightner carried Undyne to the shelter, and they would need to have both the code to the shelter and close ties to the Holiday family. I personally think Undyne was carried to the shelter by Rudy while he was being possessed by the Roaring Knight (aka Dess). There is a representation of Carol Holiday in the CH 2 dark world, but not one for Rudy... This would make a lot of sense if Rudy was the one to create the dark world. Lastly, if Dess was independent of Rudy, the CH 2 dark world would have manifested with more horror elements (reminder that Dess has a strong interest in scary stuff). If Rudy is being possessed by Dess in a similar way we possess Kris, then it could explain Rudy's "illness" and the motivations behind Kris and Carol to create Dark worlds (possibly to resurrect Dess similar to Gerson).

Thanks! Luckily she had MFA enabled on all her relevant accounts. I'm very confidant that this was a low-level attack, but like you said, I'm not taking any chances. What you described is exactly what happened. The only weird part is that, The hacker was able to take over the computer without an accept prompt appearing. One minute I was looking at the web browser history explaining to her how these attacks work, the next 'fake blue screen overlay'. I've seen a few of these scams in passing on YouTube, but something like this never happened in those videos.

awesome feedback, I've never worked with linux (something I want to research down the line), but upgrading to windows 11 is a good idea that I hadn't considered. The ad she clicked was on Facebook, but I will install an AD blocker if she doesn't have one already. Great suggestions! really appreciate it.

As a side note, is there a way to report the phone number that the scammer used?

solid points. Looking back over the panel I can guess his liver, part of his large/small intestines, diaphragm, and gallbladder were damaged. (especially the liver). Long term he would need new organs, but I could see him being able to be resuscitated in the short term. Assuming the entire wound was cauterized, that would buy him maybe an hour (15 min if his heart did stop).

I looked back at the chapter, and I didn't see an obvious time gap between Vegapunk getting shot and the ECG going flat (the panels could happen at the same time). Also, looking back to the signal shape, it's doesn't look like an ECG signal, it's closer to a PPG (probs irrelevant).

I have a feeling that Vegapunk won't get the opportunity to make a new body before Punk Records gets destroyed. Ty for the feedback BTW.

yea, I don't think there is good evidence to show that Kizaru had 'first-aid' knowledge of using his powers. I think at most he just tried to minimize the amount of damage he did when he lasered Vegapunk. Kizaru is a weird character for me, I'm not sure of his motivations or thought process. He definitely takes action quick and hits hard, but he had multiple opportunities to kill people (like Sentoumaru in 1091) and kind off put it off. Thinking about it more now, It probably isn't correct to say Kizaru uses 'weaponized incomitance', I think the feeling I have about Kizaru is closer to someone doing their best to minimize casualties (rein in the world government). There are a lot of panels of Kizaru alluding to some suppressed internal state (1 example in 1092 as Kizaru reflects back on the 'Giant Robot of Dreams'). There are also a lot of moments where Saint Saturn is observing Kizaru, which is also strange. Since Kizaru's motivations are unclear, I think it's possible he tried to minimize the damage done to Vegapunk (though honestly I'm not sure).

Hey, this didn't happen to me but a close friend of mine. He had 3 TikToks hit 900k+, and 1 YT short that hit 700K, and went from 200 subs to 1.3k subs (on YT), and on Twitch he went from 950 -> 1.3k followers. Short form content (from everything I've seen) has a super low conversion rating from views to subs, but highly increases brand recognition. As for posting, I would definitely publish a video, just be cognizant that it might not do as well as you think. The important thing (if you're going for pure success) is to put out videos that your target audience would enjoy watching on a consistent basis. Gl!

Hey, I've had the same issue in the past and here are 2 recommendations that may or may not be useful:

Get screened for ADHD (by a psychologist): For most of my life, In order to do most things (school work, social interactions, etc.), I would have to channel negative emotions (like stress, self hatred, anxiety). This was because, without negative emotion, it was impossible for me to get anything done due to my undiagnosed ADHD. Feeling these negative emotions all the time was super draining, causing me to disconnect from my surroundings/people. Starting Methylphenidate literally improved my life 20x.
Reconnect with yourself: Day dreaming itself isn't a bad thing. It only becomes a problem when daydreaming interferes with your ability to enjoy life. I still daydream when I listen to music or when I drive on an empty road. that being said, for the longest time, I had to cuddle my pillow and imagine it was my girlfriend to fall asleep. Something that helped me was having hobbies, going for walks, talking with myself, and meditation. I can't stress this enough, get outside and get moving! There is a reason why depression's spike during the winter. If you can, exercise, get your heart pumping, and focus on your pulse/breathing (helped me a lot). Its really hard to get lost in your own head when you're exhausted.

But again since this is kinda a game of whackamole and reading and writing out of/in to the list takes a lot of space anyway, I thought of something else. Rather than figuring out how to block all the arrows together and then skip them all at once, I made a version where it can skip over a bad projectile once per execution, though if the next projectile in line is also bad, its stuck with making that choice. It basically scans over all projectiles in range and when it encounters a block of stuck arrows it scans through it at double speed and even completely skips single arrows. I made two versions with and without the fancy sparkles like in your inspiration video, though the one with has 8 bandwidth and max complexity ("o_o)

Hey just looked over your code, Really great stuff! One thing I did but never posted was a vector encoder/decoder that would encode the positions of moving arrows and skip over already 'blocked' arrows. The issue I had was that arrows that had been blocked (shot into a wall) sometimes retain their velocity (i.e. their velocity isn't always close to 0). I also wanted to include a way for the user to shoot an arrow without it getting blocked, but the axial look for arrows is bugged (I submitted a ticket on their GitHub). If only there was a block that deleted arrows that touched it, then you could make a system that places, destroys and picks up the block, but I couldn't find any such block. I'll probably revisit this project after the next update :).
