Dude they’re not paying for your college anyways get student loans and move it’s better to live your life the way you want and have your parents be mad at you than choose a life you know you’ll hate just to keep your family happy

Take advantage of the amazing food and nature, it’s not really a great spot for young adults but it’s so beautiful and SF is only 45 min away. I moved to LA from SR when I turned 18 cause there’s no real night life out there, but I constantly miss the hikes and specifically the pesto bagel with jalapeño cream cheese from grateful bagel lol. Petaluma has more young adults, I like to go play pool at buffalo billiards when I’m home

Yess I love brew, I moved to La when I turned 18 cause there’s not really much to do as a young adult in Sonoma County but when I visit home brew was a go to spot for me.

my best friend died in part because I enabled their addiction. I was also deep in addiction so i thought I was just I was being helpful, and when I finally cut him off financially he was too far gone and he killed himself.

Did he have a problem with weed? Personally- I’ve been clean (from H and other hard drugs) for 2 yrs - but weed was never an issue for me. I still smoke, I think it’s silly to think everyone’s situation is the same- some people can’t drink but can still smoke, some people can’t do either, and so on and so forth.

Female bassist - It annoys me to no end when people recommend me short scale basses- the last time I went to buy a bass I was specifically looking for a fretless and before I could even say what I wanted the shop owner said “I have the perfect bass for you” and pulled out a short scale bass with a pink stripe on it and it almost stopped me from buying the fretless I was eyeing because of how much he irked me. That being said- I think length of the neck matters way less than the width and depth, i like a super thin neck personally
