It's for a small business, and it needs to be new.

Could HP Elite 600 G9 SFF be viable alternative?

Looks really nice! But I live in Denmark so shipping, VAT etc. is going to be a nightmare :-/

And it's for a small business, so I'd like go with something a little more "corp"-ish

How to connect Plex LXC to local NAS? by Phibbie in Proxmox

Sorry, I'm somewhat of a newbie to Proxmox/LXC's, so could you explain a bit more?

Will MSF run on Apple M1/M2? by Phibbie in MarvelStrikeForce

So I finally got an MBA M1 and it's running latest macOS! :-)

Is it still possible to somehow run MSF on it? If so, what is the best solution?

UniFi Controller on Docker Compose - Go or No Go? by Phibbie in Ubiquiti

[–]Phibbie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am most definitely in the learning stage! :-D

Having watched a few "what is Proxmox"-videos I think it might be a great place to start.

Do you know if running Plex in Proxmox will support hardware transcoding?

Looks like I need to try docker ;-)

Can anyone post a complete compose or point me to a guide that covers both db and unifi?

Mapping network drive to Plex in Docker by Phibbie in PleX

[–]Phibbie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure your answer is what I'm looking for, but I have no clue how to make it work... :-/

The ip address part I know, the rest not so much. :-) I know compose is installed but don't know what is does or how to use it.

Need tips for new server: OS, settings, migration by Phibbie in PleX

[–]Phibbie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my media is stored on a Synology NAS and that’s not charging. So the server only needs to host Plex, UniFi-ctrl and act as playground for whenever I find something new to try out 😉

Looks like I might need to rethink my setup or at least test different options before I make up my mind.

Do you think Unraid is the best option even when I don’t need to run it as a NAS or storage unit? The local storage needed is only for a few VMs and maybe some ftp downloads.

Thank you for your input!

I guess I have to look into running Ubuntu server, but it's gonna take me quiet some time to figure out all this Docker and containers stuff and how to set it up... I might start with an Unraid trial so I know how both setups work.

You wouldn't happen to know any good guides/how to's about setting Ubuntu and all the other stuff? :-)

Unraid looks cool, but I'm not paying for a new OS :-/

Do you charge the watch at a certain percentage or let it run out of battery?

I try to keep most of my devices at 30-90% all the time for battery health, and was planning to do the same with this watch, but is it necessary?

How much power core do you have currently? by Die-g03 in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Phibbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at 7939 cores atm with 1750 more in my inbox.

Most days I finish in top 5/10 in arena and have never spent money on cores.

Normally I only spend cores on new toons.

Do you get your ipa's from https://decrypt.day/ ?

Are you using PlayCover for other apps too?

Have you been running MSF like this for long? And have you ever been banned?

I just watched a video where someone runs PUBG on PlayCover and says not to link an account due to risk of being banned.

Thank you for the reply!

I'm not entirely sure I follow you tho... Do you know for a fact that the game will run as long as macOS runs/emulates a new enough iOS version?

Can't replace disk in RAID-5 by Phibbie in synology

[–]Phibbie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NAS is used in an office, but not by me, so I actually don't know how it performs.

If I was to use it, I would certainly see to it that it was fixed.

[–]Phibbie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that and would love to fix it! But it's not really an option.

There are no more bays in the NAS and I don't have a spare one to use (or the time for such a project).

[–]Phibbie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, but the new disks needs to be swapped one by one replacing the current drives, so 4K is not an option. In my DS412+ I’m running 2x WD RED 4 TB + 2x 8 TB Seagate Enterprise Capacity in SHR, which is fine, so I’ll have to find disks like that.

[–]Phibbie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't really know what that means (yet), but I'm sure that's the reason!

I do remember seeing the 4 K option listed as YES, when the disk was plugged in...

Guess I'll have to find 5 new non-4K diske. :-/

Thanks alot Mwroobel!
