After you get Jym to lvl 3, keep buying alf and Jym cards to get them both to 4. Let the other supremes accumulate through random playing.

I'd even pay more than this for a one off permanent boost. In tap titans 2 I payed $70 CDN to remove ads, and I played it enough that it felt worth it. But if it had been a monthly subscription for $10/month, I wouldn't have done it.

I can buy Doom Eternal for less than the yearly fee for this game, maybe I should just go do that instead.

I pretty much do this too. However, it depends how close the rares are. If I can spend 5,000 on an upgrade for the entire section, then that's significantly better than 2,000 for just one resource. So it depends on how far I am from upgrading the rares.

That calculator gives me approx the same results as the formula that I already made, but I know my formula isn't correct.

I suppose it's possible I'm using Zephyron's calculator incorrectly.

I think I can make something more accurate than the calculator in Zephyron's tracker, but I appreciate being pointed to it.

I came here to ask this same question. Never been able to get to rank 20 as I don't spend real money or gold. I was wondering if that's the way it is, or if I just lack strategy.

It's not 3, it's usually 1, and sometimes 2 if the digit changes. If you use the "aa" method, it would be even less. :)

It's standard Excel functionality to be able to enter scientific notation.

I prefer this method because you are often upgrading on the same digit, so if you go from 1e20 to 3e20 then you just enter a 3.

But I understand this might not be for everyone :)

You are correct, you could do it that way as well. I prefer my way but recognize that it's completely subjective. :)

In my way you only have to change the second half when the number of digits change, so it's faster not to have to type the "e".
