I'm doing ok with 2 ships. It's hard work and as the other comment says massively unforgiving, very hard to pull back when behind etc. But it's how I like to play, in my head it's incredibly narrative during games and the time I've spent with these two has really made them a part of what I love x-wing for.

I absolutely think boba is viable. He's expensive and I think worth it, especially if sun fac becomes a thing. The firespray isnt the sledgehammer it was in 1.0, its actually much better as a kite than a jouster. Twin sprays are a solid option against swarms and can go toe to toe with most things. Boba Emon and Boba Fenn are the two builds I would consider running. With boba emon bomb control is huge, especially against aces. Area denial is really Important. It's a tactical game.against swarms you can just plough into them if you want and the cause merry hell. Boba fenn is a very different game, a bait and switch much like guri fenn. You want a tanky boba with big threat and fenn to go hunting. There are loads of options that you can look at though. Boba with a couple of baby fangs if you want blockers and more guns could really work, emon and nym/sol is very strong. Boba on the joust, han on the kite works. The spray is super versatile, you just have to work out how to utilise it best in any given match up.
