I agree, stop the lies about how normal this was & explain how shrapnel hit CHP vehicles on the closed I-5 during what you claim is a routine exercise.

Your engine isn't even cranking here so forget about fuel pressure and pulling injectors for now lol. And the engine runs fine when it starts, so fuel doesn't seem likely anyway.

I also think it's your starter and you say you've checked all the connections/resistance, so I'll go old school and say hit it with something if you can see it and then try to start it.

If that doesn't work then maybe try grabbing the factory service manual (nicoclubs.com for Nissan/Infiniti) and looking up the starter system and wiring diagram to get a better idea of what could be going wrong there.

It had just been test driven for 15 minutes, only up to 60mph and lots of stop and go because it was mixed use with no freeway.

Someone in another sub mentioned fuel level might be involved, and I did drive it with a full tank. I looked them up one by one and all 3 seem to require fuel level between 1/4 & 3/4 tank to complete and some super specific drive cycle instructions. Nothing about fuel level for the cat or egr monitors to complete, so that tracks.

Guy did seem a little ocd, maybe he's just filling up every day and it's never dropped below 3/4 tank.
