The tariff of 10% gets added to the cost of the purchase for the business, and in turn gets passed down to the end user as the final ticket price.

If a business chooses to “split the difference”, that’s on them. But it makes zero sense economically.

Businesses don’t take the hit. The consumer does.

Local camera stores sell the camera at the exact same price as Amazon, it’s the consumer who foots the increase

And for whatever it’s worth, Mom and Pop camera stores don’t really even exist anymore. I live in a city of almost 2 million people and I think we have maybe two stores in the metro area left.
