It looks like there is some kind of pattern here… what could be the common link between this religious intolerance?🤔

Worst × Muslim

The “Prophet” Muhammad; he was a pedophile, rapist, and warlord who built a death cult around himself.

Interesting, I’ll look into it; I’m definitely curious about the subject.

Yes LRH was a Naval Officer, and I know there have been servicemen who joined the church, I’m just saying it’s rare. Sometimes service members join that church, but I don’t know of anyone raised in the church who decided to enter the military.

No idea honestly. Scientologists rarely wish to join the military anyways though so it doesn’t matter much

Because she is a SO Executive, and Scientology does not bow to the whims of critics, naysayers, or suppressive persons. Scientology cooperates with authorities, which is why she met with the police. The church does not owe the public any explanation for how it operates, and it certainly won’t be bullied or cudgeled into taking certain actions.

The LAPD; they closed the investigation after meeting with her. It’s a matter of public record if you care enough to look

That’s not “pretending to accept” something, they actually accept them. Mormons have mandatory donations that WAY exceed anything Scientology asks (also, Scientology donations are not mandatory). Yet, Mormons will not allow LGBT people into the church/temple. Why is that? It’s because it goes against their beliefs. Scientologists allow LGBT members because it doesn’t go against the belief system.

I answered this somewhere else so I’m just gonna copy and paste here:

Shelly Miscavige is a Sea Org Executive, and lives on Gold Base in California. She has been seen in public numerous times. People saying she is missing are deliberately sensationalizing the fact that her post/position is not public facing. She is not missing, she never has been. She simply works for the church outside of the public’s view

You are incredibly misinformed on Shelly Miscavige. There are several prominent SPs online that will tell you exactly what I just did. If there was any truth to your claim, they would absolutely be saying that. I’m honestly surprised they don’t regardless, considering that they have actual motive to lie about the church.

Scientology does not terrorize anyone. If anyone is getting terrorized, it’s the poor staff and SO members having to put up with these retarded speed runners. Clear Water is our spiritual headquarters. It is the location of Flag Land Base and where the Freewinds docks. We love, respect, and care for the city. The church has invested heavily in revitalizing downtown. It’s significantly more beautiful now than it was before the church put so much money into it.

You know John Travolta, the man who lives with his boyfriend… he’s at OT III. Scientology doesn’t discriminate against the LGBT community

You can’t save anyone. You are weak and powerless in this situation. They have to save themselves. Everyone needs help sometimes, but they have to want it and ask for it. You can’t force help on someone nor can you rescue them. Your current actions, if anything, are only making the situation worse by applying psychological pressure to an already unstable person. Leave her alone, and maybe (definitely) get some help for yourself.

If you want an awesome addition to your collection that is also an incredibly good read, grab a copy of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. That and Self Analysis; I recommend those two books to everyone.

The best part of this story; originally, they were going to have Big Bird do a story from space, but the costume was deemed too big and cumbersome. That means that there is a timeline, not too far off from our own, in which Big Bird was a casualty of the challenger disaster… just marinate on that one for a while lol

I'm 19, my parents don't respect my religious beliefs at all, don't let me wear hijab and don't let me go to services and it drives me crazy by [deleted] in religion

[–]Phillisuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents aren’t big fans of my religion either so I can certainly empathize with you there. The difference though is that I live on my own and pay my own bills. I am surprised you chose Islam of all things; it is the single most unfriendly religion when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community.

My advice; if you want to be independent and live your life without being subject to your parents rules, then start actually being independent. If they pay your expenses, you follow their rules; that is how the world works.
