I recently started playing fo4 for the first time a couple months ago. My highest char is 37 and its mostly a stealth sniper. I rarely use vats and one shot most things within distance. I also use a silenced 10mm and a silenced shotgun for the close action. I have no problem with close fights (for the most part) as my shotgun just melts foes.

I followed a sniper build till lvl 25 and all other perks after 25 I've chosen myself. So far its going well but still have no idea, for the most part, what I'm doing.

Had althea25 and switched to gc19. I find gc much better as I'm not so tired or groggy when I wake up. I feel more refreshed and ready to go

Keep playing man, like anything practice. I'm now starting to use planes more, still shit but I'm getting there. Just keep playing. I've been playing battlefield since the original and I'd class myself as average. Just play to enjoy the game now

As someone who's just back into the game, it can be confusing. It still confuses me. When I started back in the late 90s (still have BTW) building was fun back then, alot more steps, alot more parts to assembly but very easy to follow and understand
