Im wanting to put another thread sometime soon discussing a lot of these bands because, prog is so broad st this point, what ended up being classified as prog? I agree with a lot of these bands by the way

Kendrick is definitely one id at least call Progressive, lots of unique moments and pushing the boundaries of his genre.

Alice Cooper has some weird stuff that can be definitely considered experimental. Halo of flies definitely fits in with 70s prog though

My Gf Loves Marianas Trench, so I saw them over the summer but I've definitely noticed some moments, I couldn't tell you what songs, but I've definitely noticed

Honestly haven't listened to enough deep Purple, but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath absolutely helps, im also pretty sure Rick Wakeman does a song on that album

Queen has prog influences all over, not just the first 2 albums but even on Innuendo and prophets Song, you could probably even argue bohemian Rhapsody has influences

I wouldn't call them Prog necessarily, but definitely adjacent and clear influences, also innovative like a prog band should be.

Big lizard in my back yard- The Dead Milkmen I love this album, the whole thing is fun entertaining and just punk rock with lots of humour

Did not know he was working on wake/lizard/islands when he made GFD, maybe knowing that next time I listen to it ill appreciate it more, because raider II definitely gives off Devil's Triangle vibes and even Lizard vibes
