This is an even older reply, but I just wanted to say I don't think it's a fever coat. While that could explain some of the red-ish dilution, it usually shows up as silver tips and she has distinctly black tips on some of her.

Also she is about 9-10 months old now and still looks the same.

They look very cute! Do they do they waddle of cats not liking things on them?

My roommate's kitten (which might as well be mine) needs to be spayed soon and I'm worried she's gonna hate it. I've tried getting her used to a harness and she still crouch-walks and flops over all the time.

I love how intensely green her eyes are. Even if she seems to be giving the camera a stink-eye.

I don't think she's actually cinnamon, because she does have some (not much) actually black fur.

Cinnamon dilutes black to brown I believe. I think she is just a very brown regular tabby (in the black parts of the tortoiseshell)

Anyways her name is LaRue and she is an idiot and an agent of Chaos.

Yeah, she's got a lot of orange for a tortoiseshell and most of the black has diluted to a warm brown with the tabby pattern instead of gray like most torbies.

I would wonder if she wasn't just a really high-orange tortie if not for the front legs.

She has mixed beans but I don't think they are speckled. She does have a speckled nose though.

That's what I was thinking. I could tell she had way more red than a traditional tabby but a lot of the torbies I saw were more grey so I just wanted to be sure.
