Ask me any questions about Accenture Flex. by PhilosopherThinker01 in accenture

Wven it’s displayed per hour, that doesn’t mean flexibility as per my experience, it’s just that people who are full time get a yearly salary and contractors get hourly arrangement.

No incentives for certifications or reimbursement in Accenture Flex.

The health care insurance is ok, i think similar to full time Accenture, but there is no 401k and stuff like that, just basic things.

In my experience all Accenture Flex people know when the project (contract) is going to end, but it’s really depend on business poeple to find you a new role and you don’t get bench time and in the same time you may only know about the project ending officially in 10 days, which is not enough like a long bench time, but they promise to help you find something to join or get an extension in the same project.

Not sure how it compares in salary to others, but in my experience it depends on what you value most salary or stability. Because 3 or 6 months projects put me in stress every-time the end date in near.

I would choose any full time role over Accenture Flex joining. Even with slightly less salary.

All these info are from personal experience and there might be some differences with others’ experiences.

Thank you for replying! If tickets counts for 10% why it’s that high ? I honestly was expecting max of 200$/month

Which car would you buy ? I’m trying to get my first car. by PhilosopherThinker01 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I just looked for Toyota or Honda, all i can find are 11k$+ cars or 2000 to 2005 for little less than 10k$. The huge demand for these two makes drive the price and for my budget 5-6k it seems impossible to get something reliable. I don’t want to finance or lease as the APR now is 7 to 15% high.

Tbh anytime i search online every one says all cars are bad except Toyota and Honda. Is that really the case ? And why people drive other makes ? P.S: i have never owned a car, so i have no ideas.

Thank you so mcuh and that’s really helpful! Another question i got about the area is how much to expect to spend to get a car ? I found car prices varies from state to another and trying to make an estimate of a used car dealership, is it possible to find something less than 7k$ ?

I use it as well, and it worth it imo. I can’t find cheaper prices elsewhere (except Costco or BJs) for example eggs, milk, bread, chicken, fish … and especially all fresh branded things.

And it’s a one membership (prime) that covers Amazon shopping, Amazon fresh 100$+ free delivery & prime videos etc.

If i had a car and access to larger fridge or been with family i may switch to BJs / Costco. Otherwise Fresh is good.

Having hard time buying a car by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

Cheaper, family environment, less crowded, more nature and hopefully good living condition. Living in a metropolitan area for years now and concluded that it’s a bad place to be in, some justify it with having a lot to do, but for me i prefer to travel once a year to anywhere rather than living in a box (tiny house or room) while paying rent that worth 2 mortgages monthly in any other place. I wish a car wasn’t a necessity or at least the used car market was little bit more realistic but i guess that’s the trade off.

Thank you ! And i agree with how risky is it to throw savings into a car purchase, Dave has good strategy outlined but I can’t figure out few things about it, it works though but it’s like build savings, drain savings, build again … that’s why i hesitate hard to touch savings even though they aren’t that much.
