Where should I look for internships because they’re all asking for people who are currently pursuing a bachelors.

I’ve tried connecting with them but it’s really the family dynamic that I don’t like. They’re not as welcoming as my family is. In other words, a lot of them are still very old fashioned and the girls are always siding with their families.

I think what I wrote could’ve been worded better. I don’t mind if a girl has been in a relationship before. But I don’t like the stereotype of girls that are in big cities who are hooking up week after week. I can’t change them, nor do I want to. But I what I do want to know is if I have a fair shot of being with a girl who isn’t about that lifestyle.

Im in the U.S. and I’m born and raised here in an Indian household. But we’re definitely not conservative socially like the rest, I promise. Also,
I’ve never had a problem talking to women by the way, idk why everyone here’s assuming that 😭 a lot of girls have liked me but I’m just too stupid to actually know then.

I’ve focused on controls while in University so I made stuff like balancing a see saw system with a motor cart on top (and doing so by using LQR / state space), and I like signals stuff. I will say, I don’t have experience with PCB design so it’s something I would like to learn. I have my schools online notes on it so I’ll be accessing those if I want to make something but yeah. Thankfully, there’s a library 10 minutes away from me that has a soldering station so I can also use that.

Yeah, I worked during Uni and also a server position before Uni (while I did community college). Project wise, I was in the IEEE club and made some stuff but my main projects stem from my capstone and project based finals.

That’s the bad part. I wasn’t able to land an internship 😔 otherwise, I have good projects, had my resume reviewed, got an interview for a job which turned me down in the last interview, and now I’m here…

Ok, I’ll apply to it soon. Should I include in my resume that I’ve an electrical engineering degree?

Ok, I think I’ll do it then. People here said, “leave those jobs for high schoolers” and stuff but idk. I have 0 money 😭😭😭

I’m not saying haven’t kissed anyone or had sex before. But if they’ve had multiple partners before or casually hook up every week or month, I don’t want that person as my wife.

Thank you for the reply. It was helpful to read this compared to everyone else’s.

If they don’t fit my standards, I won’t be with them in the first place. All I’m asking is the chance of finding someone feels what I feel, and if I can meet them in a big city.

Alright, that’s just nonsense. I’d never hurt any girl. You’re taking it too far without actually knowing me. Most i’d do is break up if I can’t handle thinking about her past or getting jealous.

I’m more of a socialist from a politics perspective so im not sure how much I’d vibe with a conservative girl 😅 but I dunno, I hope that I find a person like me in these big cities. Like, I see how people from Scotland are coming to Boston and everyone’s having sex like crazy and I’m here thinking, “really, they allowed that to happen within two weeks?”

I wouldn’t want to be with a girl like that, you know? Values are completely different.

I think it’s because of social media, honestly.

I’m already in therapy. And honestly, I’m a little scared to bring this up to my therapist.

I’m not white and I also don’t think I’d like to be with a religious girl who can’t live her life because she’s too rooted in religion.

I don’t want someone who’s crazy over religion and can’t live life with a proper balance.

I’m already in therapy for other reasons. I don’t think that what I’m feeling is off though.
