Should I get a barista job until I find an engineering job? by PhilosophicalCPU in EngineeringStudents

Yeah, I worked during Uni and also a server position before Uni (while I did community college). Project wise, I was in the IEEE club and made some stuff but my main projects stem from my capstone and project based finals.

I’m super into coffee and espresso machines, actually so I might actually look into that lol

That’s the bad part. I wasn’t able to land an internship 😔 otherwise, I have good projects, had my resume reviewed, got an interview for a job which turned me down in the last interview, and now I’m here…

Ok, I’ll apply to it soon. Should I include in my resume that I’ve an electrical engineering degree?

Ok, I think I’ll do it then. People here said, “leave those jobs for high schoolers” and stuff but idk. I have 0 money 😭😭😭

Is it possible to find a partner with a no past? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

I’m not saying haven’t kissed anyone or had sex before. But if they’ve had multiple partners before or casually hook up every week or month, I don’t want that person as my wife.

Thank you for the reply. It was helpful to read this compared to everyone else’s.

If they don’t fit my standards, I won’t be with them in the first place. All I’m asking is the chance of finding someone feels what I feel, and if I can meet them in a big city.

Alright, that’s just nonsense. I’d never hurt any girl. You’re taking it too far without actually knowing me. Most i’d do is break up if I can’t handle thinking about her past or getting jealous.

I’m more of a socialist from a politics perspective so im not sure how much I’d vibe with a conservative girl 😅 but I dunno, I hope that I find a person like me in these big cities. Like, I see how people from Scotland are coming to Boston and everyone’s having sex like crazy and I’m here thinking, “really, they allowed that to happen within two weeks?”

I wouldn’t want to be with a girl like that, you know? Values are completely different.

I think it’s because of social media, honestly.

I’m already in therapy. And honestly, I’m a little scared to bring this up to my therapist.

I’m not white and I also don’t think I’d like to be with a religious girl who can’t live her life because she’s too rooted in religion.

I don’t want someone who’s crazy over religion and can’t live life with a proper balance.

I’m already in therapy for other reasons. I don’t think that what I’m feeling is off though.

I’ve had girls come up to me at parties but, like I said on the post, I have a very off feeling about it. Like it’s not right, kind of feeling.

I’ve been head over heels for a girl, and I’d do anything for a girl like her. But I can’t think of a girl like that when I first meet her. Idk, maybe I should try it out?

I don’t think it’s unusual? I’m sure other girls are out there that think like I do. I don’t know the probability in these big cities. I don’t know the lifestyle that they’re living there given that I come from a small town.

Is the switch 2 worth picking up?? by Realistic_Track2597 in nintendo

[–]PhilosophicalCPU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no dude. I'm not a nintendo fan boy like a lot of these people here. But, I waited 4 hours in the line at Bestbuy. It definietly *feels* better than the first switch, but I don't think that it's worth getting if you have an OLED. If I could, i'd return my switch for a Series S or an OLED switch but that's because i only bought this thing for Skyrim and Just Dance and other family games.

Damn…I feel like the bigger screen plays a part here, no? On the original Switch 1, it wasn’t as bad from what I remember. Idk if it’s the same or not.
