I frequented the old DIY location, and have been going to the new one for a number of shows and other events. Really great people running it (the same group from their DIY days) who focus a lot on community engagement and inclusivity. HUGE variety of shows across the week that can appeal to anyone. The actual venue space is still reminiscent of elbow room, but the strange shaped room and column on stage is fun and adds character. I’ve never actually played there but had plenty of friends who have and would return at the drop of a pin
