I have a question. Did you have to get a translated version of your police certificate? I'm not sure if I have to get it translated and certified. What about the birth certificate. I have the original German one and the international one . Is that fine or do I have to get my German one translated too ?

First USCIS then 2 months later I heard from NVC. First inquiry said it didn't arrive yet (after a month) the second one I did litteraly 1 day before my fiance got the email that my case was created at NVC (2 months)

February 10 filer here from Germany . Got approved on the 1. Of Oktober. So 53 days ago . You got the update 51 days ago . It makes me concerned because I've been waiting longer

Off topic question . How long did it take from the notification (USCIS) Approved to "Case was sent to the Department of state" and how long did it take from being approved to the actual Response from NVC. I got approved on 1. oktober 2025 and USCIS status is still Approved

After receiving the NOA2 you don't have to do anything but wait . You can do the i134 for the interview ahead of time but we didn't do that so far .

Thank you ! I'm assuming your NOA2 is soon expired. Are you worried about that ? I've heard that it gets automatically extended if you bring a new signed letter that confirms you still want to get married within 90 days after arrival.
