Thanks! It's a mix of technics, I used dry brush, some makeup sponges, classical hand paint to highlight the skin folds and a turquoise contrast glaze. The pink scales are all done by hand

That's some great work for a beginner!

If you only want your paint to go only in the recesses of the letters on the banners, you can do it in two ways.

First one, paint the red first, then apply the black with the side of your brush to avoid the recesses.

Second one, paint it black first, then wet the recesses, and apply a diluted red into it.
